Why did my sister throw an epic fit when I told her that I'll wait 'til she doesn't have a cramp?

One time, over Thanksgiving break, she was in a bad mood and talked in a tone I didn't appreciate. Then I told her, "Fine! I'll wait 'til you don't have a cramp!"

Then she threw a real BIG fit about what I just said. I know that cramps cause bad moods, so when I said I'd wait 'til she no longer had one, she raised her voice quite a bit, tried kicking me, and said something like, "DON'T COME ANYWHERE NEAR ME!"

So what I said escalated her bad mood until that night, when she calmed down about it.

Why does she overreact about mentioning cramps?

(On the bright side though, I know not to mention it to any other woman now. Sometimes, if I'm not sure of what to say or not to a woman, I'll run it by my sister to make sure it's not the wrong thing to say. Who or what is a better testing ground than a sibling?)

O don't be sorry. I really don't see what the big deal was with her, so, you told her- wait till you don't have a cramp. Big deal, I don't know why she decided to get a bug up her behind, maybe she was having a bad day, and all she needed was to hear a crack about cramps, that blew her stack? But whatever it was and if it ever happens again, just tell her to either pull that bug back on out or sit on it and kill it, just do something to settle the heck down.

My advice to you is to not test anything out on her in the future, and let this one ride. In the words of Rick Nelson - "Ya can't please everyone so you got to please yourself."

Okay, so you're a guy. The sooner you understand all of this the better for you lol.

Here are the PMS Rules:

1. The Female always makes THE RULES.
2. THE RULES are subject to change without notice.
3. No Male can possibly know all THE RULES.
4. If the Female suspects the Male knows all THE RULES, she must immediately change some of THE RULES.
5. The Female is never wrong.
6. If it appears the Female is wrong, it is because of a flagrant misunderstanding caused by something the Male did or said wrong.
7. If Rule #6 applies, the Male must apologize immediately for causing the misunderstanding.
8. The Female can change her mind at any time.
