Nothing like that is mentioned in the Bible, so there is no way to know. However the 10 commandments are THE most important thing Jewish (and all other) people should fullfil / obey.

In the Jewish culture almost all sins are not god's concern. On Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, According to religious beliefe God passes judgement on all people, who will live and who will die. you can ask for forgivness and for god's mercy but the only sign that ensues is that you keep on living even after. that is of course symbolic, and The Mishna in the tractate of Yoma ( 8:9 ) tells us that "Sins between one man and his friend, Yom Kippur does not atone for until one appeases his friend."

In Judaism it is up to the individual to atone for his sins, unlike christianity, and it is up to the individual to correct his ways by making "Teshuva" which loosely translates as repenting, but it is not a one time, or once a year act, it is a life process of correcting oneself. you can repent even on your lasr breath.

However, IF you deliberately wait until your "Last Breath" to repent, then even the act of repenting would be a selfish one and a sin (separates us from YHVH).

Self-centeredness (self-ishness) is sin. YHVH-centeredness is LIFE.

Thank you "Jesus is Not God'' it is interesting what you say. Why do you think repentence in that last moment is selfish? is it always selfish? I mean repentence in the last moment.

Well, indeed the Messiah said that if we lose our life we would find the life.Is this what you mean?

Thank you Rabbi Nardy for your reply. I am a bit confused, you say that in the Jewish culture almost all sins are not God's concern? but still it seems contradictory that God passes judgement on all people even if it is symbolic.

"Hazal" (the sages) invented a culture were the responsibilty to make ammends and appease is passed on to the individual and it is not something that god can forgive. you can not sin and than ask for forgivness and go back to sin the next minute. repentinig is a process of correcting your ways through meaningful acts in the real world, in interaction with other human beings you have sinned against.

I think that God forgives all sins except the one of not repenting. I also know that there are consequences to all sins but not repenting is unforgiveable.
