I have been a paying customer for over 15 years. I went to Free mail a few months back but went back to being a paying AOL customer about 3-4 weeks ago. However, noticed around 5/25 or before when on AOL desktop for MAC and I have to sign into a site it is "blacked out". Read others ?? on this and it is not a Safari 5.1.7 problem because I have had this Safari for 2 years and no problems until a month ago. I called and was told AOL working on this they are aware of this problem , the person (tech support) took my phone # and said would call when fixed. So far not fixed. No Call. Advise ???
Hi, Dee: I do apologize for the inconvenience. A recent update to the Safari Webkit causes this issue. We're aware of this happening and we're sorry.
In the meantime, please make sure you keep Safari and Mac OS X up to date, as this may automatically resolve your problem.
