Sign On Problem

A few days agao I sent a question about a problem I have when trying to sign on to AOL. Where and how can I find an answer ?

Ref.: PC; AOL Desktop Version 9.7; Windows XP Home Edition;ISP Comcast, Broadband Connection; Norton Security System

Situation: Intermittently (20% of the time) computer freeze-up occurs when signing on to AOL. Three characters appear and then the display freezes. Neither mouse nor keys function.  The only option is to shut down the computer by pressing and holding down the power on/off button for five seconds. And then restart after a while and hope for a connection to AOL.

Can you help solve the problem?

Thank You.

Hi, there:

So I can better assist you, could you provide me with additional information?

1. What version of the AOL Desktop software are you using?

2. What happens when you try to sign on? Do you receive a message of any kind? And, if so, what does it say?

Thank you.
