Not really sure what your point is, but this is the way of war.
Since time immemorial the only way for soldiers to do their duty is to dehumanizes the enemy, and separate themselves from their own humanity.
All war is uncivilized ruthless murder. No matter how you dress it up, or how many parades to throw.
War is about killing the other guys, until they are gone forever
