How did i get sick when i hadnt been out of house in over 6 weeks?

HI, I Am having to live with my daughter, her hubby , their 2 teen daughters and 1 of the girls boy friend. i haven't left this house for over 6 weeks. yet i get a very severe cold, broncitus, and it has made my asthma very bad. now after i have been sick almost a week, every one is getting sick. how am i to blame when i hadn't been out or around any one but this family??? i use hand sanitizer, etc... helppppppppp
