Yes, I think it's thrashy, but I'm a 52-year old dude. So that doesn't mean that 17-year-olds should also consider it thrashy.  My Mom thought tight-fit bell-bottos meant my generation was going to the dogs.  We're still here and acting almost as conservative as she used to.  Lighten up people!
