I have attempted to delete alot of old files and when I have right clicked then hit the delete it asked me if I want to send to recyle bin. I click yes. Normally it will delete the file but in my case it makes another copy of that file and adds it again to my list. I have tried doing it one at time or in larger groups but keeps adding the copies. How do I fix this proplem. I have Windows XP.
Thank you in advance, Curt cgandree@aol.com
Sounds like your computer's infected. Update your anti virus database and run a system scan.
Mines been doing all sorts of weird things! Seriously, I'm going to call the GEEK Squad or something! It scans whenever it wants to, even though I have a SET DATE its SUPPOSED to scan. (at night when I'm not using it)
I've tried Disk Clean-up, Defrag.
I need a complete overhaul LOL
For me, I think the best thing is to call and have them help you step by step. OR like I said call the Geek Squad. I'm going to call them and get a estimate. I DO NOT want to upgrade to WINDOWS 7 OMG!
This isnt much of an answer, i'm just sympathizing with you.
Good luck to both of us.
