Shelf life of urine for drug testing.

how long is urine viable for drug testing. I took a split sample test 8 days ago. the initial test was positive for marijuana. I had 72 hours to send a written request for the confirmation test. I sent the request on a friday evening, knowing that the request won't be seen until 10 days have passed. Will the urine still be good for this test? or will I be asked for a new sample.

If the shelf is in the freezer, as it ought to be, then it is very long indeed. Drug testing laboratories are required to keep part of the sample for a duration of not less than one year, at a temperature of not more than -15 °C

Gratitude as a discipline involves a conscious choice.....* Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.*One of the widest gaps in human experience is the gap between what we say we want to be and our willingness to discipline ourselves to get there.

If you purchased a synthetic urine like Quick Fix, it would last for 2 years. Just "heat and serve"  ;)

Testing as a true positive is what you should be worried about. I'm taking prescription meds too; what I do is make a list to show the testers that I'm not hiding anything. If you're son's recovering and hasn't used anything in months, there's nothing to worry about. I do understand your concern ...
