wow 12 and 13 is young for sex, but I have been reading through many parenting books and my husbands business partners daughter is a bit older and going through similar issues meaning 2 females. First the books suggestions. This is considered both being near in age, more of experimenting thing but also should be somewhat aware of the topic of sex. ( my opinion on that is, that is probably why they are experimenting) It says getting over excited, loud, belittling or ugly comments, making them stop having contact are bad ways to handle this. Even if you feel overwhelmed and confused, you must stay calm and discuss the situation with them. Begin by telling them that this is not an appropriate age for them to be engaging in any types of sexual acts male or female, they will have plenty of time in the future for things like this, then open the floor to her and ask a simple question and let her talk without interruption. (?'s is this 1st time?, if so was it just a spontaneous idea for both of you or just 1 of you? Do others you know do this, Do you think there might be something you would rather be doing instead of this? Do you think you will be doing this again? ect.) But with my husbands partners girl, I find that the more he makes a big issue out of it, the more she continues to do it. And having had 4 teenagers at once, it is very true, that if you act as if something does not bother you they move on to the next task. But if it gets to you, they will love to torment you. Any way I hope this helps, books highway 101, parenting from A to Z, How to deal with my teenager.

Make everybody you come in contact with feel Important & always be Sincere
