I was looking at your profile just now, And saw that you are in Yedda right now. I just posted an answer to the lost tribe question too, mainly to follow up on yours. Anyway, I wanted to ask you, in your topics you have seth books listed? What do you mean by "seth books?". I study Gnosticism. And there are Seth Books in the Gnostic collection. So I am interested in knowing if these are the books of which you are speaking?
Seth books? Never heard of them. Seth was the first son of Adam and is mentioned seven times in the Old Testimant and once in the New Testimant. However, there is no book attributing to his accomplishements or life.
Shalom Njoy and Daniels,
I will address both of you both of you may be interested in this answer. The books of Seth of which I am speaking don't have anything to do with dream interpretation. I am speaking of the Sethian texts that were found at Qumran and Nag Hammadi. They are religious in nature, and date back to the early first centuries. And were not know about until they were found in the last decade. Studying religion is one of my things. And yes, Daniels, the Seth of the bible is the same Seth I am speaking of. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Been real busy lately, so I haven had time to reply. That's cool that you have the Nag Hammadi book. Is it copies/translations of all the texts found? I have the Gnostic Bible, which is filled a collection of texts from Cather, Jewish, Madadian, manchinian, Islamic, and other schools of Gnostic thought. It is wonderfully written book and is filled with tons of research. Well, that's it for now. Take care.
