Hi there,

In the beginning, Sepia Photography was a chemical process carried out on silver-based photographic prints. I don't know exactly when it was invented but the oldest photo with sepia that I ever seen was made in 1890 in England. Today, with the advance of Digital Photography you can get the same result emulateing this effect on computers.
