For me the factors for a good quality article are the substance and the number of words.  If one of these are not present an article cannot be considered as a quality article.

The quality of the content is very important in content writing.

Content is the ‘king’ and if information is more descriptive and unique then visitors come again and again and one visitor can be a reason of number of visitors. So there are a couple of things to consider before writing website content: your customers' interests and needs - why do they buy your product/service, targeted keywords - which keywords drive the most sales/profit/sign-ups, the intent of the content: is it to inform your visitors or to sell?. So if you write your content after keeping in mind these factors then as my sentience you would get more ideas about your content and can get quality content.
