In Second Life, does anyone know how to script an AIM presence indicator?

I don't see one that's out there - but my suggestion, since AIM has a pretty robust developer network, is to visit their developer's message board and post about it. I bet you there are many people wanting a presence indicator for Second Life. Hopefully someone will take that challenge and build a plug in for it!
