Discuss MackTheKnife's answer to: Scuba diving requirements

The idea of scuba diving, to search out for things previously undiscovered is appealing. How do I go about doing this? Is there a course or an age limit that is required?

As long as you're physically able to put on all the equipment and you have no health problems then you you'll probably be able to do a basic course. but if you are underage you will need permission from your parents.

The basic course will enable you to dive to a depth of up to 30 metres. If you want to dive deeper you will have to do special courses and there may be more restrictions on those.

"The time has come" the walrus said "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax. Of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot and whether pigs have wings."
