Can you give me screenplay ideas?
Look, I'm a professional writer, including screenplays which have been produced and are on DVD. If I get a good idea for a screenplay, do you really think I'm going to give it away? Besides, if you can't even think of your own ideas, how do you expect to have the imagination and creativity to write the actual screenplay?
Well, I do have my own ideas, but every time, I ask for input, I'm told to change something. I feel like one of my problems is that I write for myself more than for other people and my tastes aren't really mainstream.
I felt like asking people to give me ideas would help me because I would improve my chance of getting people's approval.
I was wondering: since your're a professional, would you mind reading the script i recently finished? It's my first one.
First of all, write whatever you damn well please. Seriously. If you don't, you won't like the work. It doesn't matter if you're mainstream or not. You have to write what you love.
I'm willing to take a look at your script. I can't give you an in depth analysis, but I'll see what it looks like. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks for your help.
