Maybe there is a small amount of acid sitting in her tummy (this happens with an empty tummy)...this would also cause a dog to throw up some foam either yellow or white in color.  Try giving her a treat right before bedtime to see if it helps.  Also ask your vet for his/her opinion.  How long does she do this for each time.
