My sister just used a boy name for her girl. Has anyone ever used Keegan as a girls name? It just seemed odd that they are using it for a girls name.

There seems to be a trend to give girls a boys name, I guess it started rather innocently with names such as Danielle, Samantha and eventually the trend came out of the closet with Dan or Sam

Yes, people do mix up names, both with girls having boy names and vice versa, and sometimes names can be used for both. Keegan is a nice name for a girl, as it reminds me of Megan.

I think it'll be fine. Smile Congratulations to your sister!

Seems like a fine name to me.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

I think Keegan actually sounds more like a last name than it does either gender but it is still pretty and unique. It's hard to come up with a name for a baby! Congrats to your sister!
