Is Ron Paul the New GOP Candidate?

He sounds like his mind is focused on the constitution and the Nation's workers.. I think he's a good contender, he's not a pretty boy so if he wins it will more likely be because of his platform.. Whether he will be either the top candidate or win the brass ring is still months ahead and as the media seems to take great pleasure in keeping their readers confused, everything can change in the blink of an eye [look what's been happening so far]... I certainly wouldn't want four more years of stagnation and threats of bankruptcy but on the other hand, I wouldn't want somebody in that's as bad or even worse than what's going on today. I personally don't think either party is capable of governing this Country and the independents don't havve a chance in hell, so I guess we'll just have to take the bad with the bad.. Just hope who ever gets in will focus on this Country and set our interests on domestic progress and give the world a break.

Ron Paul thinks it's OK for Iran to have Nukes and that we should stay out of their business. He doesn't see Iran as a threat.

Iran is going to have nukes whether we agree or not. So, it's between a rock or a hard place. Either we leave them to clean up their own back yard or instigate more war by threatening them with our might.. Who wins? Certainly not the citizens of the U.S. As it is we have honchos who say lets nuke 'em first and turtles who say it's not or place to play nanny to these idiots and in the middle we have everybody arming themselves just in case and the more they arm, the more we infiltrate.. Why not just have an all out knock down drag out and save ourselves a few trillion bucks making a few highbrows and corporations richer.

Well connected, respected.

If course, no 'sane' person should accept potential enemies from arming themselves with nukes but in relation to what we have now, who wants to "End the conflict, bring the troops home and eliminate the deficit" which is nothing but more 'hot air' that some poll said the citizens want to 'hear' while amassing more corporate backing that in the end would expect their promised favors of NOT ending the conflict, NOT bringing the troops home and especially NOT eliminate the deficit except through the middle class.. We've got hand puppets who can't wait to gain the brass ring so that they can blatantly confirm to the american public (once in office) that they are and had always been liars.. Only Ron Paul speaks of returning to a constitutional ran white house/congress.. Is HE lying? Quite possibly (after all, he too is a politician) but at least what he wants us to hear makes much more sense than continually badgering opponents so that the nation will choose the LEAST corrupt of all of them. I'm neither a rep or a dem, I'm a constitutional advocate and I'll believe Paul above the others that defame each others religion or welcome illegal aliens with open arms (for more votes from their legal alien family) re-structure districts that favor reps above dems that were once at least partially democratic.. what a scam these mutton heads are playing on us.. Find ways to stifle voters whom they think will vote against them by setting unfair limits on early voting and such while sucking up to the Mexican American by allowing their illegal families within our borders with the promise that within a very short amount of time,  they can help wipe out social security (the new ponzi game) by making them eligible, then once they do receive these benefits, allow them to go back home (where they would really rather be) with a steady income.. Ron Paul may not be the answer to our woes, but I do not believe he will be part of the problem. Who else do we have? A Bush clone? A Mormon who (consequently) was once a partner and close pal of his big  mouth opponents or those in waiting, hoping to continue our over spending g'ment frenzy.. Since Obama has totally failed in his efforts (to either help or destroy our way of life.. you decide) my vote will be for Ron Paul (unless someone else with enough morality suddenly enters the race that also believes in our County and it's constitution).. 

The more I hear from and about Herman Cain, the more I think he would make an excellent president.

Ron Paul seems to me like the least offensive and least harmful choice.
