Leftists have always suffered extreme delusions.  If they ceased suffering these delusions then they would become more responsible and fit persons, who might be fit to re-enter society. 

It is well that we pity leftists for their obvious delusions, but do not sympathize with them.  They cannot get over their obvious delusions if you play into their games.
