If Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were nominated for an Oscar, who would win?  Is it a mistake Twilight had no nominations?

I think that Twilight wasn't expected to be as big of a hit as it was, and therefore was not nominated for any awards. With this huge Twilight rave going on now, and New Moon coming out next, there may be awards coming in the future.

I think Robert Pattinson should be up for best newcomer and he could win.  Taylor has a much smaller role in Twilight but it will be interesting to see what happens after New Moon because Jacob appears in that more prominently.

no it is not a mistake but if they were nominated i belive robert would win beacuse he is in the movie more, taylor is a very good actor mabe the best in the movie(even though i am a strong team edward)  i belive lautner will be just as big a star as petterson when new moon is released.

I think that Robert would win an Oscar for best actor, but Taylor, sue to the fact that he is not in the movie as much as Robert, would win the Oscar for best supporting actor. :)

oh hell yes its a mistake! they should of had like 12 nominations. rob sucks but taylor is awesome and should have gotten one.
