Are we being ROBBED?

How do we have our condo trustee audited/ or what can we do? We feel he is using the condo-fee $ for his personal use. we've asked for an expense report sevral times & we've just been ignored. We have no proof of what he is spending the $ on & there is a lot of work that needs to be done, but he's claiming there is no $ in bank for condo repairs.

Do you have a copy of your CCRs? It should be addressed in them.

You need to check your condo lease and find out exactly what the condo fees are stated they are to be used for, then do a very intense investigation of your property and document anything that is in disrepair photograph it or video documentation, You can always contact your state or county to find out what laws protect you and they will normally assign someone to your case to do an investigation. If he is not being forth coming with where YOUR money is going he is default, you can take legal action.

Thanks. Just a note the trustee is also an owner in the building. & the condo -fee as far as my understanding is suppose to cover all things outside of each owners' 4 walls. Who in my State or County should I contact?

Get a lawyer now,and that trustee need to show reciepts for what he is spending the money on,talk to a lawyer now<and you can go to the d.A.Office or annorney general"s office.Do not warn the dude just go now.
