Here's the dirty secret you won't hear much about. The true leading cause of death in the US is poverty. Is Obamacare the answer? Danged if I know. It has good points in bad points. It may not be the answer, but at least it's SOMETHING, which is far more than the usual bullshit about privatizing medical care and that'll solve the whole problem. The truth of that one is that while it sounds good, it essentially does nothing at all. No change, no solution, no nothing. We have to do SOMETHING because the problem is growing and people are going to start dropping like flies. I owe my life several times over to medicaid, and I feel incredibly blessed to have it.
