Yes, oh yes.  With utility prices and a high mortgage to pay and no cost of living raise in sight, dining out is now a luxury.

Yes, I recently graduated from college and have been able to find a job in my field.  I'm not a youngster but am 51 years old which makes it that much harder.  Eating out was one of the first things to go.

Absolutely.  Have to prioritize where each dollar goes these days.  These deals really make it tempting..  Will I change my current spending habits on eating out right now, i doubt it.   The problem is bigger than worrying about eating out and the cost of it, I somehow feel greatful when i'm able to make a big satisfying meal here even at home, and the cost of that is way less than eating out for the most part...    I will admit some deals make you save more money than if you bought and cooked the product yourself.   Those are the ones that make it well worth it. They are few and far in between although i think.

Yes! We can barely put food on the table much less go out. I'm looking forward to my anniversary next month because that will be the first time since last summer I will be in a real restaurant. We havn't been this tight since we were married and that was 29 years ago.

absolutely yes! I go to the local sports bar on Sun, Mon & Thur night and get ice water with a lemon and tell them I am the designated driver. Great way to watch the football for free...

My husband and I are retired... we do dinner out most nights. We are coupon and specials seekers. We also have begun splitting meals that are large.  We order water with a lemon slice for our beverage.... usually saves us around $4 to $5 dollars on our bill. For two people it's cheaper  to eat out... if you  leave off the appetizers, and desserts.... which waist lines don't need anyway.

Yes, Not only will I not support the restaurants the service has gotten so poor, unfriendly, don't care if you food is good, the employeees and especially the Managers could careless if your food is worth the price and the harned earned money when we choose to spend our money and walk out thinking I could have ate somewhere else or made it at home for half the price.. I can cook from my home and not have to worry about A. the taste for the price B. If it's not corrected after they don't even try to make it right. People are tired of this. I blame the Managers. If your food isn't touched. That is a red flag, that managers MUST train their employee's. Especially if you don't eat what you have saved your money for and this was a special Occassions for you and friends and family. Everyone is talking about this and that's the real reason people don't eat out as much. Tired of the funky service we receive and the food that once was good is just ok. That says a lot. We are tired ot it. Listen and keep your employee aware of this and bring it to the attention of someone. Go silently and tell your Managers if they ignore know you will eventually not have a job due to these issue's because without someone telling someone or people bragging telling everyone it's a chain effect. To high for the area as well just because geographicallly they think there food is better. Not the case anymore. People just want what they spend their hard earned money for. Cooked right, at whatever it takes for the Cook to get it right. The employee has got to listen and the Cook like the customer knows and wants. Las Vegas is the place to start and listen. Great deals, great food and great buffet prices. Good food that doesn't take your paycheck and some fine food you can afford. With no comparison. Go see what they are doing to be successful. Tropicana offers steaks and crablegs, 13.99 and out of this world. Not second rated food either. Not cheap tricks. Really good food and everyone talks about it. We need more of this. In all res

Yes we have stopped eating out.  It's too expensive and I live in a very small town that's about 15 miles from a major city and so gas is an issue.  One good thing is that we are having to eat better and snack more sensibly.  There's a grocery store gas station/mini mart type store and a Dollar General in town.
