The only people Republicans care about are the rich.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

To Bonestructure:  Your answer typifies the "Why should I work when I can sell my vote to whoever promises to make someone else pay for what ever I demand crowd".  To your view, anyone working and paying taxes is "rich" and should be penalized for it!

No, I know what rich is. I used to be it. Mind you, you must remember I don't like Democrats any better. I dislike most politicians. Neither side really cares about the people they're supposed to be representing. These days it seems like the only thing both sides care about is proving that they're right and the other guys are evil and horrible. I find certain politicians on both sides are actually decency human beings who sincerely understand their job is to make things better for the people they serve. I thought both Nixon and Reagan were decent presidents, despite their problems. For many years I hoped Anne Richards, one time governor of Yexas would run for president. I didn't agree with much that she did, but she was definitely a politician who thought of the people she served, and even more important, she didn't take any shit from anybody. To me, that's an important quality in a president. Repub or Dem, they all seem to go whatever way the people with money tell them to go. Anne would have told them to fuck off. Me, I think for myself. I make my own decisions based on where I feel the truth lays and whether the person understands what the job is. I have voted for both Repubs and Dems. But I refuse to vote the party line. My political affiliation is from back in the 60s when I was a Haight Ashbury hippie and professional musician - the Peace and Freedom Party. I register that way out of loyalty, not because it's a good party. They've run some of the most absurd candidates for the presidency ever. No one takes the party seriously, but it leaves me free to vote the way I feel is right, regardless of party.

Though, in the last few years I've come to the conclusion that half the population of America is completely insane.

I also think illegal immigrants should be thrown out of the country, and get no benefits, nothing at all. If you're not a citizen, you aren't entitled to anything. And I hate that so many things have to be stated in both English and Spanish. Fuck it, if you want to be a citizen, learn English. I've met immigrants from Nigeria who value the ability to be citizens and speak better English than many native born Americans.

You see, I have a wide range of opinions. Never judge me by any single statement.

David Palmer Jr. Thinks this answer is Not Helpful:

Tell us all: why does George Soros own Barrack Obama in fee-simple estate, and order his every action to fill the pockets of the Batty Billionaire?

Did you think that you were going to get in on the Greedy Soros Gravy Train, Bonestructure?

Guess again.  You bought a bill of goods.  That is why our nation is in such a hideous mess that only racists approve.

The Koch brothers own the republicans and Romney.

Gravy train? What gravy train? I live on disability. Any money I make past that, I earn. Anything I had in my life I earned by working hard.

You just enjoy insulting people and starting don't you? I find that rather sad. You know nothing about me.

This is coming from the poster who does nothing but blog 24/7. Rocmike obviously doesn't have a job and survives on the very government programs it pretends to be against. Rocmike aka Dave Palmer when do you work?
