Reporting abuse

I don't report anything to AOL any more; they never do anything about it--HOWEVER--I have at times come across obvious legal violations that I've reported to the police, CPS and/or FBI.

I have reported the sick insane right wing hate mongers and nothing is ever done. I guess racist confederate flag wavers are accepted on AOL.

People on the right especially the confederate flag waver do not realize how ignorant they are. Not to mention how sick and insane their racist hate is. They never complain when it's a fellow right winger being abusive. The more abusive and disruptive someone like American Patriot aka Rocmike is the more they like it and the more hey stick up for them..

I doubt if the ones who are supposed to be monitoring AOLanswers are volunteers, but they either did not hire enough people to handle the load, or else they do not monitor the monitors. The fellow who called me said it was an impossible job and that they were not the only website that had that problem. I just know that this one person or maybe persons who follows me around and snaps at my every answer is a real pest who must not have much of a life. If that's his/her only entertainment, I guess I should buck up and let them have their fun without me complaining about them.....but that's not gonna happen....LOL!!!

I know what you mean Kathy. I wish we could do something drastic to make AOL respond to our complaints. It seems useless to report incessantly and see no results, but that is about all the rights we have. They tell me they are overworked by getting about a million reports a (day? week? can't remember now) and that when someone gives up one name and gets another it means that they(AOL) has blocked the person. It's such a tragedy that AOL does not seem to stand behind their own Terms of Use. Erin at AOL and Matt have been helpful to me, but like Neta, their hands are tied. AOL is too big I guess, to be decent. So many have left because of that very reason.
