My air conditioner has power going to it but the fan is not spinning when I turn it on, I replaced the fuses but still the fan does not turn is their a way to fix this problem??

I think somehow the fan has got jammed. However I would not advise you to try it on your own. Rather it is better to get a professional to get it checked.

You've done your part and seems it doesn't work, ask now for a professional help for air conditioner service , repairs and maintenance. it is better to have it from them, than to have it in your own, it might just give you further problems.

Since you've done your part already and nothing's happened then it's now time for you to bring your air conditioner into sites for services and repairs. They know more about handling that kind of faults.

The fan should not be shutting down. The motor is going out on internal overload. The motor might need to be a larger horse power. Many times the factory motor is specific to a unit and is designed for that unit. Unless you got the motor from a company that sells your brand of unit it could be a problem.

It could also be a part, feel if the air cond. is hot while on or after unplugging it, if so get a new motor.
