i am looking for a rental home in the franklin tn area ( franklin high school zone ) that has either in law quarters located in the home , or a guest house sep attached from the main house.
can someone please help me, no real estate agents seem to want to work these days and they dont even know what i want, i could be wanting to buy a home .
Hi Lynn,
I'm sorry you have had that experience. It's not all agents. One of the agents in my company does quite a few rentals these days, and seems to enjoy doing it. If you really want help, feel free to call the office (615.595.1311) or email info@stamps-realty.com and I'll get you in touch with her. Her name is Grace Madaski.
On a side note, she did mention that rentals seem to be tightening up quite a bit. With something as specialized as having in-law-quarters, it may be a tough find. We are in that type of house with my father, and it wasn't easy to find (there aren't a lot of them out there for sale - even fewer are for rent). That being said, however, with a little creativity you may be able to find something that works (a huge rec room with a separate entrance & bath can often serve well as a "studio apt." Same goes for a finished basement, etc. You just need to keep an open mind while searching.
Regardless of how you find your home, good luck.
