How to remove towel bar holders from bathroom walls

I want to repaint my bathroom, but having a problem removing the bathroom towel bar holders from wall. Can you tell me what I need to do?

Answers

Look at the bottom of the holder and see if you can see tiny little screw heads or a six-sided hole for a tiny allen wrench.  These loosen and when you take the holder off the wall, you will see the mounts that it attached to screwed into the wall.
