Removal of oil stains from driveway pavers

Is there anyway to remove oil stains from driveway pavers? I have tried a product from Home Depot with no luck. I also tried bleach but again no success.

Have you tried cat litter? Put a heavy layer over stain and let it sit. After several hours or the next day sweep it up. If needed repeat until you get all that is going to come up. Then scrub with a degreaser.

Thanks for the quick response. I will now try cat litter.  Marty

Use what we use to remove stains from greasy kitchen  concrete floors Vinegar& Salt just pour the vinegar down and pour salt into the poured vinegar and let it set and dry . when it drys just wash it up with soap and water.

You should try catlitter. It does sound kinda crazy, but it works.

Thanks. I will try your suggestion.

Under absorbents you want Oil Gator which will absorb any free hydrocarbons and then bacteria will work on feeding on and therefore destroy any oils remaining.  It absorbs the oil, encapsulating it rather than just coating the outside of a clay pebble as happens with cat litter type products.
