Does anyone remember the 1962 case of Mary Ott- the young girl who went missing in South Baltimore, only to be found buried in the basement of her nei?
The house is still standing at 1166 W. Hamburg St., Pigtown. (In fact, the whole block has been beautifully restored because of its proximity to the two stadiums.) The house's brick front is currently painted green. This may be because in 1962 a psychic was contacted before Mary's body was found and she said that Mary would be found in a green house with a dirt basement. In 1962, the entire house was not painted green, but unlike all of the other houses on the block, the trim was painted green.
