Discuss Dr. Kelly's answer to: No religion?

I didn't know that in the US, the fastest growing religious faith is no religion at all. Actually I don't believe it. What about the growth of spirituality in the country?

Between atheism and Islam we have seen more than our share of warfare, atrocity, and personal violation. That is because both cults are utterly consumed with hate, practice such hypocrisy that no one can reason with either, are so stubborn that they must both default to brainwashing (negligent infliction of a disabling personality disorder) maintain a stranglehold over their "converts." The use of terror is never out of line as far as they are concerned.

Not so with genuine religion: Christianity, Judaism, Hindu, etc. These codes of living are gentle by nature and decry violence. The sole objectors to peace in the world at present are atheism and radical Islam.

Who needs either?

I would call Communism a religion also, and not a nice one.

Communism is a cult to be sure, but since cults are by definition purely evil, then the communist cult is that way also. Their track record of genocide, atheism, and hypocrisy certainly makes them unique.

There is no good use for any of that simpleminded bigotry.

Pgroot, I agree heartily that communism is a cult but I would hardly elevate such a cult to the status of a religion. Communism, taken as a code of living, means that all share what they have equally and serve as they are best able. Ideally, that results in a situation close to paradise.

The problem is that people are unfit for paradise as yet. Selfishness, laziness, anger -- the panoply of misconduct -- make communism the least desirable state of affairs that exists.

Stalin was the hallmark of communism, alongside his adversaries Mao, Hitler, and a few others whose names have darkened the pages of history with dishonor.

All things considered, capitalism is a much more humane, durable, and achievable standard because in a capitalist society we have freedom, where in a communist society we are all tyrannized mindless slaves.

For all its instability, there is much more to recommend capitalism. China will gladly attest.

communism is a form of government slavery, akin to tyranny. It has nothing to do with athiesm, except as a means of controlling the population.

Hitler was a extremist conservative. He believed in a master race in the same manner you believe in a master religion. He looked upon the Jews as you look upon the Muslims and Athiests. You and Hitler have a lot in common actually. Dispute THAT !!

Because Islam and Atheism are cults of bitterness, violence, corruption, and deceit, then the burden of proof is on Chris and his false screen names. The question arises: "Can he show actual proof, or must he merely default back to cult indoctrination and propaganda, which has always proven utterly false because there is absolutely no proof in any form for any contention of discredited atheism?"

The burden of proof is on Chris, and he has utterly failed to prove his case because his case has already been disproved by the facts.

So much for the bigotry, lies, games, hatred, and malignant corruption, of atheism and islam -- which on close examination are one and the same.

The truth is now before you.

Hitler was a Catholic occultist, not an atheist. Islam is a derivative of Judaism and atheism is just about not believing in any gods. It is neither a cult or a political system, it's how we all are before we are taught religion. You need educating.
