Discuss n's answer to: This is a think question: What is the difference in a blessing and your reward.

I'm thinking, a Reward is something given to you after you have done something to please the giver,(good grades; ate all your peas; won the game; followed the rules.)

And a Blessing is a free gift you receive for no reason at all....a free gift with no strings or requirements attached.  You can also BE a Blessing to someone, and that's a Blessing for you in disguise.
