All parts of the body have individual aurae.  Most will be essentially the same color and intensity, but the hands have the most intense aurae of any part other than the head.  The aurae of the hands are unique in that this aura will transfer to others. 

Early Christians and Jews know that the laying on of hands would have their effect.  Healings, restoration of sight, and other miracles occurred until the Industrial Revolution.  The Eternal continued this way until a little at a time we became more capable of doing things on our own.

Now that we have begun to develop intellectually, and have discarded atheist dogma, we will continue to grow in faith and wisdom, as the two are essential.
