Discuss MikeC's answer to: Best Religion

Which religion should I convert to?

Yechiel I can only give you my perspective. First of all in my opinion G_d does not have a physical presents that we are aware of. When we pray, we hope we receive some kind of spiritual input. Now this does not pertain to a specific religion. We all claim to be spiritual at times. We all seem to come up with this feeling of awareness with the spirit of G_d. Not all of the time but enough if we seek the truth. There is a presents in us that we are all aware of. Not a physical presents but a presents none the less. My point on this specific principle, without matter, can there be change ? You bring up the line of David. We all know that the male gender in those day’s is where the line of family decedents was accepted. If Mary was never married, she would have been accepted into the line of David. Point being, in my view, seeing the Christ was conceived by God and not by Joseph. The decedent was still in the line of David. because of the lack of intimacy by Joseph prior to marriage. You may say that Jesus was the son of Joseph, I do not believe that. In my perspective, because of the lack of a relationship with Joseph prior to marriage, Jesus is still in the line of Dave. I am going to go back in time with you. At the time of the Prophets, they would pray and they (the Prophets )would hear the word of G_d then translate it to the people ). From Abraham to Moses this was the case. I first have to make my feelings known to you and hopefully in the right perspective. In Genesis when G_d said he will make mankind in his image and likened, it was not, in my opinion the physical likeness but the creative likeness, with the image being that of projection of, love, kindness, anger, etc. Here is the kicker in my view. When Jesus the Christ came into this world, we all took on the physical image of G_d. Did G_d change,? not really, He can attain anything he wants when he wants it. As I said before, going back in time, the Prophets praying then translating to the people. Because the thought of G_d where completely the thoughts of Christ, there was no translation. Everything Christ said was the direct word of G_d in my view. The power of the word cannot be changed because of It’s ability to manipulate the physical. The word has always been the word and the word has not changed.

Nothing is as it seem's.

It is VERY IMPORTANT for Jews to understand that no unsaved Jew will be allowed into God's kingdom. Jesus taught Nicodemus, a Jew and leader over the Jews, that unless a man is born-again he cannot enter into Heaven (John 3:1-7). 1st Peter 1:23 teaches that we are born-again by the Seed of God's Word, by faith in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God (John 20:31).

Judaism is a Satanic false religion, because they deny that Jesus is the Messiah. They claim that their Messiah has not come yet. Sadly, they will embrace the man of sin, the Antichrist, when he appears.

As true Christians, we know that Jesus, the Messiah, came 2,000 years ago to take away the sins of the world as the Lamb of God (John 3:16). Amen and amen! Judaizers hate the New Testament, because it teaches that God loves and respects Gentiles as much as Jews (Romans 2:11; 10:12). Jesus rebuked the self-righteous and religious Pharisees and Sadducees. Jesus said they weren't going to Heaven (Matthew 5:20). Self-righteousness is a road to Hell, fire and damnation (Romans 10:3-4; Romans 3:20)!

The Jews are God's people in a physical sense. However, to be a Child of God means realizing one's own sinful condition and then believing on Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. Once saved, you become a spiritual Jew. Only saved Jews will be a part of the "remnant" which Paul speaks of in Romans 11:1-5. Have you ever trusted Jesus Christ to forgive your sins? Do you believe that Jesus is the ONLY begotten Son of God, God manifest in the flesh? Have you been born-again?

Most Jews deny that Jesus is the Messiah. They are NOT God's children. You see friend, you can be a physical Jew and not be a spiritual Jew.

The Bible likens unbelieving Jews to branches broken off a good olive tree. The root of the tree is Jesus Christ...

    Romans 11:20 and 23, “Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear ... And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.”

Any Jew can be saved and made right with the Lord by faith in Jesus Christ  It was unbelief that got them into trouble in the first place.

Dear AC;

First of all, you contradict what I have said several times; G-d places each of us where He wants us, and each of us should do the best we can to do what the faith you are in teaches you.

It is nothing to me what you do, regarding Jesus, or any other teacher. That is your business. What I am doing is presenting a balance to your posts,where you, like some others here, are more interested in telling others how to believe or behave, than discussing how we can help each other.

I posted today a short summery of how the Jesus idea went from one where, if we did or did not join his sect, Jews could accept him as part of the Torah community, to the Pagan religion the later Church fathers built. After the Councils, Judaism was squeezed out, as your renewed religion became less Torah compatible.

No problem; Jews are taught to respect your religion, as well as all other religions, as G-d commanded this.

More respect from us to you, than what many of you show Jews or the Jewish Faith. G-d has us in hand, I think it should be by His word, not some other, and we do.

You mentioned Jameslee? I admire him for his honesty, openness to listen, and to state concretely how he feels about what is said. Unlike you, I find him to be someone with whom I can have a decent conversation with. If I say something he takes exception to, I discuss it with him, and fund these discussions to be of value. James, I thank you for this. We do not have to agree, to have honest and enriching conversations.

I am glade that you find him to be someone you can converse with. I think he-if you listen-can be of help to you.

Your posts are more mature, but still to much of "me." Open up and listen for what you can learn, instead of what you can interject. You shall gain more from this type of posting and conversing.

AC; I hope and pray that your communications continue to become more "Christ-like" as we go along. Maybe you do not recognize this, now, but you are growing, and I am encouraged in you becoming more of a useful citizen because of this.

Good Sabbath;

Yechiel, you know this is not a personal thing with me. You said,"

Why do you reject G-d and His word?"

We do not reject God and His word. In my opinion, you reject the truth of the prophesy of Isaiah.

Why do you wait ? (My perception of the Jewish faith. ) Isaiah 42: 1 Here is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen one whom I am pleased. Upon whom I have put my spirit: he shall bring forth justice to the nations, Not crying out, not shouting, not making his voice heard in streets. A bruised reed he shall not break, and a smoldering wick he shall not quench, Until he establishes justice on earth; the coast lands will wait for his teachings. Sorry, but to me, this is not the land of Israel, this is more personal. This statement deals with an individual. .

Follow up question on the upcoming Messiah, Is he also to be a bruised reed ? Hind sight vs freight. Somebody is wrong don’t you think? Explain to me the bruised reed if you wish. GBY Mike C
