Which religion should I convert to?

Just wanted to give something to consider, is it that people are persecuted because of their beliefs such as those who believe or do not believe in Jesus the Christ? Or is it more in line that persecution comes from those who do not agree with others and especially when it comes to religion, and also towards those who see them for what they are? Persecution is expressed simply because others do not believe as they do. This is persecution and there is a difference between disagreeing and debating or arguing a different line of reasoning.

 

We all know that Christians and Jews among other faiths and religions have been persecuted. The question is why. I say this because it is very obvious to me and anyone following a FAITH THAT IS TRUE rather Christianity, Judaism or any other religion would not persecute anyone. I am speaking of those who are TRUE to their FAITH and not self proclaimed. Out of the abundances of our heart we speak, and when one cuts and paste the Word of God one moment and persecutes others the next, we are witnessing a lie.

 

Anyone following Jesus the Christ should know that they are to spread the Gospel of Jesus the Christ not to force or persecute others into believing. Spread the Gospel and live by example, what a concept. And this cannot be accomplished by persecution, because those who persecute are not of God. Anyone causing a divide between religions should stop and think of how they can help to cause a Unity between them. I guess what I am saying is to tell me why and how you believe in God and not why you do not believe in God or as I do.

 

We have a world divided with different religions and faiths, all of which need to come to the realization of their Unity with the One God. I said Unity with the One God, and to clarify, OUR Unity with OUR One God, not religion. My Faith in the Father, Jesus the Christ, and the Holy Ghost are the same for they are the same, the One God.

 

There is One God and I have Faith that all who do not know Him will be drawn to Him by all who have the Faith in and of Him.

Dear James;

You said wise words. With the rise of acceptance among today's Christians,of accepting that Judaism is as correct a faith as Christianity,and Jews should not be coerced to change our religion, there is more peace and cooperation, than we have found among our peoples in the past.

Reason is, I am sure, is that we are spending more time understanding Our G-d, than trying to play god with our neighbors.

G-d said in His teachings for us to love one another, not change one another, so we can be more like Him. So for those who accept Jesus' teaching to love and respect all, they have found that their lives are more comfortable.

All you have to do is look at those who support, say, civil rights, and see what kind of life they have, as opposed to those who beat the drums of difference.

Problem they have is very simple, the noise of the drums block out the voice of G-d, so their lives are not as fruitful as those who obey Him. This is the main message of Torah, and it works.

Dear Friends;

Faith brought up an interesting item; to distinguish between "belief" and "knowledge."

I think we all have lost sight of this, and is one of the contributing factors to some of the heat between friends.

It is also what makes it so hard for "the other" person to hear what the response is, at times.

I put in the "drum" theory before I came across Faith's idea, but it is so appropriate. I thank her for it.

Can satan’s ministers masquerade as apostles and ministers of righteousness? Absolutely. Satan does not walk in the front door of a church and announce his intentions. He masquerades as a bearer of truth. The devil will give you as much truth as it takes to get you to bite into the lie. Unless you are grounded in the word of God, you will not recognize the lie when it is counterfeited


God allows these people to arise to test you,  those who truly love God will cleave to His word. Anyone can say, ‘I love God’, but the evidence is found in your choice. Anyone can say, ‘Jesus is Lord’, but if their Jesus is not the Jesus of scripture, this statement means nothing. When we compare false teaching to scripture, we will see that false teachers do indeed ask us to go after other gods. They may call an idol the true God, but it is still ‘other gods’ if it is not the God who has revealed Himself in scripture. They may call the spirit who guides them the Holy Spirit, but if it does not confirm scripture and point to Christ, it is nothing but a spirit of deception


We will be accused of attacking God’s anointed when we obey scripture and test their doctrine, but in reality, we are defending, not attacking. If a teacher presents his doctrine to me and I compare it to scripture, is that an attack? Of course not. However, I have found that almost 100% of the time, I am called the aggressor when I openly use the scriptures to validate a prominent teacher’s doctrine. Even so, I am mandated by scripture to do so or else I am a partaker of their deeds. The apostles were punished severely for presenting the truth of Christ, but they said, “We ought to obey God and not man”. In this country we don’t have to fear severe punishment. Even so, the church has been unknowingly taught to fear man instead of God. The Bible says that we are not to be afraid of the threats of false prophets nor listen to their words, yet people tremble at their curses and fear that they will be judged by God at the warnings of these teachers that God has already condemned. No man can curse a child of God. We are cursed or blessed based on whether we choose to love or reject God. The Bible says that God will turn their curses into a blessing if we are faithful.

With their lips their heart will confess the truth of what spirit is in their hearts.. IF it is not the spirit of Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit of God testifying of Himself being in them, then it is another spirit in them a false spirit, a false Jesus Christ, a false gospel that satan has twisted so good it is believed to be the truth


The fallen angles Know about Jesus they believe Jesus is God. Satan knows and believes Jesus is God, satan knows scripture better than any human, he knows all about God, but they do not have Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit of God in them. It is written satan can and  does show himself to be a angle of light, (satan deceived Eve)  satan deceives today just like he did then. it is written satan will set himself up as Jesus Christ, Most ALL will be deceived worship the beast, the false Christ (satan) before Jesus comes back.


Satan twist the word of God so good it looks real, all it takes is one Keyword to be changed in Gods word in scripture, and that's what has happened in ALL bibles except the KJV,  most ALL preachers and believers today use a false bible where a Keyword in scripture has been changed or a whole verse is left out, people are worshiping a false Christ today.(the falling away)  Anyway, thats who he was speaking of, those that will say Lord Lord.

Persecuted or Tested?   -  The Bible teaches that we are to test all teachings (I John 4:1,6), expose those teachings that are false (Eph. 5:11), confront and rebuke the false teachers (Titus 1:9,13), and then separate from those who persist in false teaching (Romans 16:17; Titus 3:10), lest in the end, we are disqualified for service (II Timothy 2:20,21), or worse yet, we are identified with the false teachings and the false teachers themselves (2 John 10,11)
