Which religion should I convert to?

What so many people don't understand is, the intent of ones actions is far more important than the actions themselfs.

We seem to get lost on being right. If ones intent is to love God and what pleases God, this is by far the most important issue. This is why the judgments of mankind fail so many times. God understands the heart, mankind can only do it’s best to understand the actions. We interpret words and phrases but have very little understanding of motive. We all need to be aware of deception but I guarantee you that those who deceive are only deceiving themselfs. Again, God hears your heart and understands your motive 100% of the time. Be true to yourself and be true to the God you say you love. GBY MikeC

Physicalist

What motivates me is not god but the people who want to infuse public policy with their crazy ideas from scriptures. Those are useless passages that mean nothing to me nor should they mean anything to anybody. Do you believe in killing gays, adulterers and misbehaving kids? Do you believe in walking and talking snakes? Do you disbelieve in evolution and the big bang creation of the universe or Genesis? You can't have it both ways. Now what do you think of people who do?

Physicalist I do believe in evolution, there is always things evolving in this universe and on this planet. The point I feel you and many others don't seem to get is that much of this evolution is by design. The big bang is a theory along with a thousand others universal theories that has no reliable facts to back it up. So no, I do not believe in the big bang. As far as killing gays, adulterers and misbehaving kids, that does not even deserve a response because it is such a dumb question.

Jameslee--Why would I hate god of the Bible that does not exist?At least if He does exist He does not reveal evidence of His existence. I don't hate myself but I hate many things in a world that I would change if I had divine power. I cannot see evidence of a god in such an unmerciful world. Can you? If a god created this world he must be an idiot.
