AC, you have asked the following:Anonymous Comment

What do you and James think God is all about? Is He all about our salvation, are life after death? OR is God just something to discuss? How are we going to know how to get to heaven if we don't read what God says in scripture?

AC, There is nothing bad or wrong about "reading what God says in scripture." I did not say there was anything wrong with reading scripture.

Posting scripture is not discussing your own thoughts and feelings about that scripture is what I said.

As for "getting to heaven." I'm not concerned with how or when my Heavenly Father takes me home, because I have faith that all will be well, when the time comes. The reason I have faith and no need to be concerned is: He takes care of me here and now and I know without a doubt that when my time to transcend from this world to whatever is next, God will be there taking care of me.

No need to worry(about others) so, AC, God is in charge. Trust God to get in touch with each of us in his own way and in our own time. Posting scripture is not offensive in any way, but you must realize that those posting here have all read plenty of scripture and are trying to share our thoughts with each other. People who do nothing but post their scripture are preaching, because (in my opinion)they haven't given their belief much original thought.

Tell me AC, if someone starts posting from the Book of Mormon or the Quranor from the Kabbalah, will those words help you find Christ?

Therefore you see, your scripture alone will not help the Hindu or Atheist or Jehovah's Witness find your idea of Christ either.

AC... Do you listen attentively when a Jewish person is quoting from the Talmud or do you wait anxiously until they finish so you can do your own preaching and then present Christ to them through scripture?

There are other ways to present Christ to the world AC. One way is patience and tolerance with others. Another way is by being yourself and sharing your true self with the world. God is with you AC, just as he is with all of us. We can live with trust in our Lord or without. I trust God's guidance, and I trust that you have much more to say than simply quoting scripture. God Bless you.

Moses and his wisdom of God caused The Ten Commandments to be entrenched on the hearts of a wicked generation. Given too a generation believing that the separation from God was real, and as a guide for living and self discovery, a step towards their return to God. With the dawning of the Ten Commandments in the hearts of that generation the desire to please God became more fulfilling then selfish personal material gain. Godly emotions began to blossom, the extending of worldly love was being felt. The return to God by way of the Ten Commandments was a recognizing of, and turning from wickedness. The return to innocents by way of Jesus the Christ and the acceptances of Christ in our being is our transformation into the righteousness of God. The return to innocents is full of joy, peace, freedom, love, and all of the gifts of the Spirit.

A new born creature in Christ is the beginning of a thought system that is aware of the will of God. The will of God is a cosmic dance that is everlasting perfect harmony. In your belief of independents from God you have imagined a will of opposition that only seems to exist in the world of time and space, but in reality nothing can oppose the will of God. The return to innocents is the removal of the blocks hindering your awareness of your spiritual identity and the return to the level of the Holy Spiritual Mind. You are in the world but not of it, for your Kingdom is of God. Your faith in God is transforming into the Faith OF God.

We are the Son of God, not sons of God, singular, all returning to the innocents of God together. It is the will of God that all be saved and Christ is the way. The Body of Christ is total equality of all beings, of every faith, and non believers alike. With this in mind, remember: what you do to your brother you do to yourself, what you experience all experience, and when you give you give to yourself. You are one with God and this means that you have everything, and are everything. Learn this and you will have learned the Universal Law of giving and receiving. The return to innocents is one of sharing; the difficulty lays in the material identity that wants it all for itself. Extending love is of the Spirit and being selfish or fearful is of the ego. Your return to innocents is the growing awareness of who you really are. The Holy Spirit is a giving Spirit, and gives all to all. Learn how not to believe that when you have, that you believe that you have not. You have everything and are everything, and can only give to yourself. In the world of body, time, and space, the thought of giving possessions away is a depressing concept for the ego mind that has fear of lack and associates everything with a value. At the ego level of mind you may not like to even think about giving anything away, but the truth is that the nature of God and the first lesson of the Holy Spirit is the extension of Love and Love is sharing. The nature of the ego is one of selfishness that comes from fear, the opposite of Love. Thank God that his Holy Spirit in our return to innocents will guide us of when to give and what to give and how much to give, just listen with your heart and you will be extending Gods Love.

One can search every facet of the Universe, but unless one carries that which one is searching for with them, they find it not.

Thank you for speaking as yourself aC. I appreciate knowing how you feel and how you interpret God's word for yourself.

Adam and Eve had no experience living with God. They were like babes in the woods as far as experiencing the world around them. That voice they heard with its one commandment went in one ear and out the other. They were as little children.

We, who are their descendants, are not as simple minded. We have a more sophisticated mind structure due to the mere fact that they and all other ancestors have gone before us.We have learned from their experience. They had no ancestors from whom to learn.

If you could clone Adam and Eve from you and me this very day and give them that same commandment and predicament, with our DNA(life experience)running through their veins, they (I predict) would possibly make different choices. But, you see AC, they, according to the story given by the inspired Word, were the beginning of humanity. They were about as ignorant as humans can be and easily led astray. (unfortunately some people today choose ignorance over wisdom), it's easier to come by...lol..

As far as "knowing it all.." AC, I sure do not, but I do have the ability to read and think and speak and I know I am a child of God, the same as you are, and I am comfortable enough within myself and with the Presence of Christ guiding me, to ask any question I feel the need to ask. And to think any "far out thought" that comes to mind.

I agree that without God, I would be totally lost in the Biblical stories, no matter how sacred they are. But you see, God is with me, and when He gives me insight, I am free to share it with my fellowman. If it makes some of my siblings uncomfortable, I don't think that is reason enough for me to deny my own God-given thoughts. That is one reason I can say, for me, it is impossible to go against the will of God. I am living the will of God (to the best of my abilities).

I do know that I do not know it all Ac, and I certainly do not want to come across that way. There is always room to learn more. Let's not shut ourselves off from learning by judging each other's walk with our Lord as not being true. We may not hear God's voice the same, but we know He is ONE, and He speaks as ONE. We need to trust that he has spoken to others as wisely or maybe more so than he may have spoken to us. God Bless.

Happy Easter everyone !

Nothing is as it seem's.

NJOY  You said,  "We, who are their descendants, are not as simple minded"  as Adam and Eve.   I beg to differ with you on this,  I believe we are more simple minded than either Adam or Eve.    All we have today is better toy's and the next generation will have better toy's than us.   Reading books, having a degree,   having the best toy's, that does not make for a more mature experienced person.   Knowing how to live, love, laugh,  communicate with others,  make commitments, stand by them such as marriage and children and family.   To  create,  bring harmony,  have patience and understanding, having people that admire you.   When you can do all these things and bring joy to your life along with others,  That is the  truly educated.     Many generations before us accomplished all of these things better than we do today.   Look at the divorce rate,  child suicides,  rape,  the people with all the money and so called educated that are so unhappy.  You see it everyday in the news and with the people around you.    No NJoy,   I believe we are less experienced in the true meaning of life and more simple minded,  more now than ever.     We live closer today than ever and are more isolated than ever in history.

Nothing is as it seem's.

Phys, here I am, my whole "lovely self"(as you called me..lol..) telling you that Christ, that Indwelling Spirit of God, is much much different than the words accredited to him by some who had a political agenda to pursue.

I am not one of those who follows ancient dogma literally, but I am one who studies the Word and what it means to know Christ/God.

My belief ain't what you describe, my friend, and I have to agree with Jameslee that you are totally blind when it comes to your "mind's eye," which you profess not to have. And I must quote Jameslee here:

Physicalist, "you are not perceptive at all when it comes to spiritual substance." When you are, please come back and talk to us. Love and Blessings to you.Smile

Anonymous     Keep in mind that Christ Jesus is not one dimensional.   He understands those who truly have not heard,  He knows the teachers that taught and where not understood,  He understands the reasons behind the disbeliefs,  the passive responses.  The thing that Christ knows best is the heart of each individual,  why it is what it is,  the source of the individuals understanding and the results of a poor teacher.   Things may be clear to you,  but wisdom comes from patience,  not pride.  The brother of the prodigal son had all kinds of pride and yet the father said, he (his other son)  was lost and now he is found,  rejoice !  Many times we are like the brother of the prodigal son.  We know we did everything right, and can't understand why our Father is so willing to celebrate for the child that turned against him.    Life is a process,  patience is a matter of discipline.    The true analogy is,  God,  like the father in the prodigal son, He is far more understanding than his children.   We must trust in our fathers wisdom and not seek superiority over our siblings.   No matter how you or I look at it,  we are all children of God/Christ.   If others agree with this statement or not.     GBY  MikeC
