MikeC. It sounds to me like you have totally misunderstood my explanations.  That is okay, but I can't continue trying to explain something as complex as my feelings/thoughts/ideas/information/influences to you.  We can part as friends I hope.

Yechiel....thanks...you have given me many great links in the past.  I'm sure this will be another one.  Try that book I recommended to MikeC.  I'm sure you and Claire will love it.  I'm sending a copy of it to my oldest son and my nephew.  Both of these fellows enjoy this subject as much as I do.

Claire and I give you kudos for standing up for yourself. Life is full of many turns, but we can choose how we negotiate them. I hope you have a better time on AOLA and that we can continue to discuss our ideas, and maybe to help others to learn more about themselve and their culture.

I  do not agree with all of it, but I have already learned some interesting thought from some of the experts in the study of our culture and faith.

Yes you have said that, and it is true. However, What you do not believe is what God says (Jesus Christ says)  in His word how one gets to heaven to be with God.

Hell will be the second death, the death of the soul on judgement day.

Only through Jesus Christ, believing in Jesus Christ is God your lord and savior can you be with God in heaven.

You say you believe in Christ, YET you do not believe a word He says in scripture. You do not believe what Jesus says in the Bible is the word of God.

You believe in a different gospel than the gospel of Jesus Christ, the word of God that is written in scripture in the bible.

It's your life, believe what you want.

Thanks AC, for giving me permission to believe what I want.  That's all any of us can do.  So, thanks for not judging me on that.

As for what I believe:   You have stated what I believe, but you have not stated it correctly.  I believe the same as you have said, but our interpretation of Christ's meanings differ. 

     My interpretation came through Christ to me after years of study, so when you state that what another person has said they believe is not the truth, be careful. 

      Because you are trampling on the very Word, and because you do not fully understand that other person's heart/mind...you are making a judgement call on them, and that is a sin. 

    My belief, my truth, comes from God through Christ, and I most certainly do believe the words of Christ, but not all of the words accredited to Jesus in the added scripture called the New Testament , were actually His. 

      We have very few literal words of the peasant from Nazareth.  His followers were not erroneous in their posting of the words they said he said, but the truth is:  We have very very few of his actual words. 

       We know his frame of mind through those few words and from the Thomas Gospel and a couple of other works, but the bulk of his new testament words were not actually uttered by him. 

                  No sin in learning AC.

Yechiel, why don't you find a jewish website to post on. People who believe as you do, instead of staying on here and arguing causing problems with people who do not believe as you do.

We don't go to a jewish website and post, because we don't believe as they do, we know it would be stupid to post on a website where people do not believe as we do, it would just cause problems. 

You don't believe as we do, YET you post on here just to disagree with our beliefs and cause problems.

You are on a thread with people who believe in Jesus Christ. You do not believe in Jesus Christ. What is your purpose for being here? You know in your heart before you even post you don't agree with or believe what we believe, you know in your heart we are not going to change our mind and believe the way you believe, yet you just stay on here and disagree with how and what we believe.

It would be stupid and ignorant of us if we went to a Jewish belief web site knowing we do not believe as they do and argue with them the way you do to us. YET that's what you do here.

NJOY, be careful what you believe and say about the Lord God Almighty Jesus Christ, the Word Of God. If what you say about Jesus Christ is not the truth then you know the end result.

I suspect that is the case.  Well, my friend AC, my faith is not fear based.  That is perhaps a big difference between us.  God loves me and He guides me.  I do not speak of these things without having first spoken to Him.  Perhaps you should "be careful" how you jump to judgements of others whose faith you do not understand.  Perhaps....

The name of this thread is not the "Best Christian sect to convert to", but "The Best Religioin to convert to"! Now, where have you found an interpretation that only Christian people are alowed?

I am not Christian, but I respect all religions, not argue or demean, as you have consistantly done. If my presence is such a burden to you, maybe you, the sole griper, should find a site where there are those who do not find your attitude a problem.
