Discuss Faith's answer to: Best Religion

Which religion should I convert to?

Back to the initial question.... which  religion should one convert to.

It is too bad more do not  understand karma better since ultimately it is Karma which will dictate which religion one  ( to say one's  individual soul) is  drawn to... or away from.

.

When we arrive here, the location, family, and conditions we find ourselves in are far from random.    IT is not really a free choice  (  though it will most likely  appear that way to the veiled mind. ), otherwise there would be a LOT of people living in Boca Raton and very few living in Bangladesh.   Nor is it by chance.  WE are given the conditions we need, not the conditions we want.  Plus.. what we might think is bad karma may actually be a blessing.. though often well disguised.

When one's particular earned karma is over .. THEN we may find ourselves being led to either another dualistic religion, no religion, OR a non-dual spiritual path.  Nothing happens by chance.

A dear friend of mine who had been an ordained priest for nine years eventually rejected that belief system since it  no longer met his particlular spiritual needs.   His religion TALKED about "God" but  was never able to give him the direct Experience and Knowledge of THAT Divine One.    Belief was no longer good enough.... and this was only  because "God" awakened an intense desire within his Heart to not just believe in God but to KNOW "God" directly.

.

He eventually realized that religion could not provide him the Grace that was absolutely necessary to give him what he sought... what "God" drove him to seek.

The Grace Bestower does not just talk about "God" and promise one a seat in Heaven sometime in the future.. when we die.   "God" actively Reveals ITs SELF and gives us more than the finite mind of man can possibly comprehend.

We can make ourselves ready but only up to a point.   When, Where, and How we receive Grace is out of our control.

 .

For a while he called himself an Atheist,  though I doubt most Atheists would be angry and rail against "God" for not revealing ITs SELF.     This time in his life was simply a part of a much larger Divine process.

After a few years "God" showed up... BIG TIME... revealing ITs SELF fully,  and he became a Bhakti Yogi,  a  Spiritual Lover of "God" .. to the extreme, totally devoted to "God".     He was able to do this because he finally understood "God"... from "God's" own perspective.   He finally was given more than just a menu, more than just words and promises. He was able to enter "God's" sacred kitchen and dine on a banquet of Divine Love.

Step by step  "God" led him through a spiritual awakening process, guided by Grace the entire time.  Even when he thought "God" was not there... "God" was there, guiding every detail.

So... what is the correct path to "God"?   I would say that it is the one that "God" has already laid out for us, individually, ... before we were ever born and that journey can take many twists and turns.  It is best not to judge any of them.

~

It was "God" all along who was in charge of his spiritual evolution.  When it was time to move on.. he was made to. IT was not really something my friend had a lot of control over.  When We are ready to evolve spiritually we do... it is not an intellectual decision.

WE cannot force "God" to show up but we can send an invitation ...Ironically...  it is "God" who inspires us to do that.   Our entire life is made to unfold in "God's" time and by "God's" will. This is "God's" Divine Play not ours.

Pysicalist, why would I react to your threat, seeing that you clearly lack the fortitude to carry them out?  Even so, I feel quite secure in my relationship with The Eternal, therefore, death would not be a threat but instead the gateway to eternal reward and happiness with my beloved family.

Your tone is one of seething hate against all persons of mild nature and clean conscience, because that indicates sound religion.  The merest mention of decency sends you to a rage.  Yet you depend on the decency of others not to react appropriately to your threats.

One day someone will tire of your threats and will react according to law, which will be the day your mortality was destined to end.  That instant, you will transition to Eternity and shall be judged according to the things that you have chosen to do and why you did these things.  These are your choices and that comprises all the variables of your character.

Is there any good in violence or threats of violence?  Is there any reason to react blindly to these threats?  Is there any reason to believe that these threats were not inevitable, but the one who delivered such evil amounted to a volunteer who was misled to choose evil instead of good?

What good is atheism, as we consider that it contemplates these barbarian misdeeds but avoids reason in every form, because reason is entirely alien to atheism?

I have also received numerous threats from Physicalist, consistent with all of his posts.  It is his way, as atheism is a cult of terror and lies.

However, I have never seen any cause to take his threats seriously.  We have seen the intensity of his bitter grudge, and the fact that he is, "Damned sick and tired of religious lunatics trying to take over.  Until we have properly disposed of all religious maniacs and destroyed all their Jewish and Christian temples, then no decent and modern thinking atheist is safe.  Christians are all ax murderers and Jews made up the Holocaust as a money gouging sympathy stunt.  We must do something to eliminate these ignorant barbarians . . .."

Here we see the actual character of Physicalist and all atheists settled in their own words and that without room for question.  Considering his tone, words, and undeniable message of hate, then is the use of threats beyond anyone who is so clearly unbalanced and delusional?

Do you realize you have placed yourself on the side of the bigots?

Do you have an answer for this question?

The only bigot here is Phys.  That and his 200 screen names.  Did you think sane people would buy that?
