Discuss MikeC's answer to: Best Religion

Which religion should I convert to?

Jameslee You said, " TRUE Christians who understand do not Worship Jesus, but Worship Jesus the Christ with the understanding that Jesus the man is the Son of God and Jesus the Christ is God."   I respectfully beg to differ with you on this statement. True Christians do worship Jesus.   It seem's to me that your implications are to separate God from Jesus. This cannot be done nor has it ever been done. Example : The latest findings state that in one strand of DNA there is more information than all the books in the Washington library. The embryo of God (just think of all that information available in that ) was placed in Mary by God. That embryo was part of God himself. Just as God conceived the universe from a thought or word, he also conceived an embryo (a part of himself) for a single purpose. To show himself to us as a man born of woman. If God would have just appeared to mankind, all choice would be gone with the obvious response being completely out of fear. The perfect principle of love by example was and is Christ Jesus, one and the same Jesus that was foretold by the prophets under the name Prince of peace, the Messiah. The Glory of God and all his power will be shown to mankind soon enough and the fear of mankind will be greater than all the wars combined on the face of the earth. The face that God gave mankind, the face that developed in the embryo of God two thousand years ago, will be the face that will be seen on the last days of present day earth.

Nothing is as it seem's.

Let me say again, the Spirit of God was in Jesus the man, the Son of God, not in Jesus the Christ.

keeping it short and to the point, the Spirit of God was Jesus the man, the son of God, was Jesus Christ was God the Spirit of God manifested in the flesh. Jesus Christ, God the Spirit of God, God, now in heaven

Jameslee  You said, " God does not act and react to different situations happening in the world or in our personal lives."

Explain the Ten Words or the Ten commandments if you will. Explain Jericho, the flood, God's voice to the prophets, the plaques of Egypt, the flood, the loss of paradise. I can go on and on. Those are all interventions by God almighty directly on the human race. God is very much involved directly to who and what we are. He (God) has been since the beginning and He will be directly involved all the way to the end of time. That is nonsense to believe that God does not get directly involved in our lives. It is by our recognition of God and knowing his involvement with us that makes our personal lives wish to change. "Seek and you shall fined." Finding God ? I think you are still looking ! My faith is in Jesus Christ and he is very much involved in me and the world.

MikeC: Those are all interventions by God almighty directly on the human race. God is very much involved directly to who and what we are.

God is very much involved directly to who and what we are.

Jesus said "No one can come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up on the last day.'' (John 6:44).

(John 6:45) reveals how God draws men unto Himself. "It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught of God.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me

God "calls'' or "draws'' all men is His Word, the Gospel. "And it was for this He called you through (His Word) the gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." (II Thessalonians 2:14) The Holy Spirit calls men through the gospel; and it is Gods Word)  the gospel that is the power (Romans 1:16).

Therefore, all people, when they hear the gospel, at any moment, have the ability to respond to God's  call. They also have the ability to reject it (Acts 13:45-48).

For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." (Acts 2:21). The people who heard this wanted to know how to do so (Acts 2:37) They were told "Repent and be baptized, everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"

If we do know God as our Father, then let’s not be bashful about saying it! Let’s speak up and acknowledge it – “I’ve got the Lord Jesus Christ in my life! He’s my loving heavenly Father!”

What ungrateful children the Lord has who say" God does not act and react to different situations happening in the world or in our personal lives."

MikeC Jameslee, That is nonsense to believe that God does not get directly involved in our lives.

What else should you expect? Expect nothing less from someone who does not believe in Jesus Christ is God, nor believes in accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord God and savior, nor has ever accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord God and savior.

Yet despite Satan’s vast arsenal of devices and deceptions, a few, by the grace of God, come to Jesus when "He" calls. They come by faith and surrender all to Jesus. They follow Him. They have overcome the many devices and deceptions of the devil by the mercy of God through faith.

We are in a spiritual battle, a spiritual war, a spiritual fight, a spiritual wrestling match, a spiritual struggle.

We need to look at God’s Word and see what spiritual warfare is, in order to understand what is happening to us. The Bible shows that spiritual warfare is between God and Satan. This began when Satan said, "I WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN, I WILL EXALT MY THRONE ABOVE THE STARS OF GOD"-Isa 14:13. He was actually seeking to dethrone God. Yet God tells us that Satan will be BROUGHT DOWN TO HELL-Isa 14:15.

The deceptive powers of Satan are so great, that one-third of the angels of heaven followed him. This spiritual conflict between God and Satan goes on today. You are involved. You cannot get away from it. There is no place you can go to get out of this battle. You cannot withdraw. If you withdraw from God, you go into Satan’s territory. There is no neutral ground. You are either in the battle on God’s side, or you are in the battle on Satan’s side.

Satan is so expert in deceiving people that they do not even realize they are in a battle at all. Why? It is because most people know very little of what the Bible says, or they do not believe what the Bible says. This includes priests, rabbi and preachers. As it is written, HE THAT IS NOT WITH ME IS AGAINST ME-Mt 12:30.

Do not underestimate Satan and his powers of deception he uses through those who say they know God but refuse to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord God and savior. satans  ability to twist Gods word and put obstacles in your path is great. He deceives some by saying " God does not act and react to different situations happening in the world or in our personal lives."  . By  twisting Gods word, satan deceives others into believing "the Spirit of God was in Jesus the man, the Son of God, not in Jesus the Christ" OR  twisting Gods word by saying " TRUE Christians who understand do not Worship Jesus, but Worship Jesus the Christ with the understanding that Jesus the man is the Son of God and Jesus the Christ is God."

Those that are saved, know Jesus Christ is God, Jesus Christ, one name, one God,  we worship Jesus Christ our Lord God and savior, Those that are saved,Satan often tries to deceive them into thinking they are not.

If you are a fruitful, born-again Christian, who has accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord God and savior whose light is shining, you are under attack because you represent Jesus Christ.

As Greenfield said,"If we do know God as our Father, then let’s not be bashful about saying it! Let’s speak up and acknowledge it – “I’ve got the Lord Jesus Christ in my life! He’s my loving heavenly Father!”OR as MikeC said," My faith is in Jesus Christ and he is very much involved in me and the world.

God is not a liar, you will never, never, ever, here those who worship the false Christ (satan) confess, “I’ve got the Lord Jesus Christ in my life! He’s my loving heavenly Father!”
