FR on True Freedom Cont.....

Being under the influence of the 'false' ego is much like someone caught up in a dream ... where they try so hard to run from a 'boogy man' never realizing that that 'boogy man' is in fact a creation of their own mind. . To be truly FREE one must be free of the judgmental subjective THINKING mind ... so THINKING one is free is, ironically, part of the problem.

. Speaking from my own "experience" ..... it was not until I Woke Up, by an act of Grace, that I *Realized* I had been asleep all that time. Only in that moment could I even begin to understand that I had been "Asleep". . It is for this unique Spiritual Awakening ..... (the one 'True Death') , that truly sets us free from the veiling 'false' ego ... that the Grace Bestower manifests for us.

Heaven is lovely ... HOWEVER... it is NOT the main concern of one such as Jesus since even while enjoying higher planes of Consciousness such as Heaven our veiled mind still holds sway over us. . So without Grace, which is the only way to be set FREE, (by bringing about that 'one true death'... the death of the 'false' ego, which we incorrectly identify with and "THINK" we are ) ... we can never be free to REALIZE our True SELF...THAT which is the one Constant and the SELF of ALL.

Dualistic religion is partly right.... in the sense that YES... Grace IS essential, but essential for what???

One should not just assume to know. Grace, the manifest power of "God" acts as the Cosmic Alarm Clock... to Awaken and set FREE those who have no idea they are sound asleep... UNTIL that one divine moment. THIS is what "Realized BEings" realize.... that they were in fact imprisoned by the veiled mind and that Grace is the ONLY way to be set free.

If one only THINKS they are free.. then they are not.

The New Age movement is a counterfeit that appeals to the minds of individuals leading them to think that that they are God and can enhance their lives through their own person. If this is thought through, it becomes quickly apparent that this is impossible. We are born, grow up, live a while on Planet Earth and die. Humans are finite. We can never be God. We need someone greater than us yet like us who can provide us forgiveness and life eternal. Only One has filled this description, the God-man, Jesus Christ. Through His death and bodily resurrection, He has won for us what we desperately need—forgiveness before God and the guarantee of purpose and meaning in this life with life beyond the grave. Don’t miss out on who Jesus Christ is and what He has done for you. Read John 3 in the Bible. Ask Christ to be your Savior. Your life will be transformed, and you will know who you are, why you are here, and where you are going.

I think people CAN enhance their own lives, AC. Because if we are not in charge of our own thoughts, actions and behaviors, then who is? God does not make our choices for us; he is not taking control of your fingers & making you post anonymous statements on this site. YOU choose to do that all on your own.

If you were to try and understand another's point of view, then perhaps you would enhance your own life by losing some of the anger, hostility and frustration you feel every time that other person doesn't agree that only YOU have the "right" answer. But the reality is, YOUR answer is only right for YOU so no matter how much you preach it, it falls on deaf ears.

And if you were to enhance your own life like that, maybe you'd finally be able to understand what forgiveness is all about, too. Divine Forgiveness is one thing but before you can get there you need to learn how to forgive right here on earth. Forgive yourself for your mistakes and forgive others for theirs as well.

It's called being human. Try it sometime.

TO AC... The term "new age" is just a catchall phrase and has no particular meaning. The non-dual spiritual path I identify with on the other hand is probably the most ancient philosophy on earth...so hardly "new age" whatever that even means. My non-dual perspective is in full alignment with Jesus' owncam "Scret" teachings....so I have no conflicHim. You are correct though when it comes to the finite mind of man THINKING it is "God". That IS simply delusional. To Realize one's TRUE SELF takes an act of supreme Grace....which allows onne to Transcend the Thinking mind all togeather. One such as Jesus does not THINK they are "God"....rather by Grace alone they REALIZE they are in fact "God".... so not the same at all. READ YOUR BIBLE WITH AWAKENED eyes and you will REALIZE that JESUS

ooops ;p..... that Jesus main goal was to make us JUST LIKE HIM. So, if you THINK, via your finite veiled mind that you are "God" then you are a fool and full of hubris HOWEVER if GRACE REVEALS your own HIGHER SELF to you THEN you will KNOW ....in a way that the mind NEVER can....that you are Divinely Blessed.
