Which religion should I convert to?

MikeC??? Have you lost track of the fact that what we call God is Spirit... not material???

God has no DNA to pass on..... DNA is physical.... God created DNA.......in all matter/material....God is Spirit....that is why he used a human body to live among us and demonstrate how his holy spirit can live within us.

Jesus demonstrated this, but civilizations (too many) have placed "Jesus/humanity" above "spirit/Christ/god"

My physical self and your physical self are not who we are in the eyes of God. It is our spiritual self where God abides. When we forget that God is and always has been SPIRIT and LOVE..... we tend to want to think of Him as physical like us....but that is getting it backwards.

We are created by God...in His Image....spiritually, not physically.....Not only was Jesus there with Him in the beginning....we were also....we were the "twinkling in God's eye" if you will.

Spiritually speaking is what we need to concentrate on, not a physical entity like ourselves....that is where all the confusing comments come from..... that is why atheists do not believe in God. We've all been playing pinochle in the bottom of the boat....as Annie Dillard said in Pilgrim At Tinker Creek. Paying attention to the material/concrete/physical aspect of our little lives, and forgetting who we truly are....created and holy spirits living in a physical world and a physical body that are both amazing and unbelievably wonderful, when the real/true life is in the Spiritual. Spirit is Energy. Energy never dies. Energy is Love, it provides us with life. Mankind has witnessed this for eons and chosen different names for it. we call it God. There is no better word. and yes, Christ and God are the same, and so is the Indwelling the same....it is the Holy and Divine nature that has been granted to everyone by The Grace of God Almighty...the Mystery of Mysteries.

The term Christian has been used as if its definition is fixed and universal. This is far from the truth.

Historians used to speak of "the early Christian church." as if it was only one group of people meeting. Not so. It was thought that these churches were united by the same teachings and rituals. Not true. In Rome alone, the people came and formed their own Christian church. They came from Syria;Turkey; Egypt; and North Africa. They spoke Greek and Latin as well as their own native tongues.

Only in the second half of the second century do we find a single bishop elevated over the rest. And with that, clean lines start to be drawn, dividing people by excluding the ones the bishop regarded as heretics.

Respected leaders such as Valentinus, the Egyptian poet and spiritual director was labeled a heretic and accused his followers of being inspired by Satan.

Iranaeus wanted to create a unified church, so he denounced all independent spiritual teachers and insisted that everyone believe the same doctrines. He sent all gospels except the canonical four, to the rubbish heap. 150 years later, Constantine (emperor of Rome) decided he would resolve the differences by bringing together the powerful bishops in major areas. He funded ONLY the groups that agreed to a definition of Christianity which was established by the bishops he gathered together in the town of Nicea. The year was 325 C.E.

Those who objected had their buildings burned and they were hounded out of the churches as "heretics." Their many writings, which had been read and faithfully copied for centuries were literally forced underground.

This is the way of all Historic events. In Great Britain, every loser was shamed in the history books by the winner(new King/Queen) in one way or another. Most of all the loser's children were proclaimed "illegitimate" so they could never (legally) inherit the throne.

Jesus himself was considered illegitimate. This cloak he wore all of his life, along with the shame of it.

Personally I do not consider any life "illegitimate" I consider all life sacred, therefore I do not believe in abortion. I see God's Holiness in every fertile egg that is penetrated by every sperm that results in a living being. I see God's Spirit impregnating Mary with Joseph's DNA through sperm. I think God's Spirit caused your birth and mine. I think there is a reason for everything God has done and does do and will do.

That means you think Jesus christ had Human DNA in Him.

Jesus Christ was God in the flesh,God impregnating Mary with His Spirit, Jesus Christ was /IS God. God does not have ANY HUMAN DNA in Him. HE IS GOD.

Satans spirit is lying to you. All we can do is show you the truth in hopes God will open your eyes from your deception.

Yeah I know Mike. However, I know God shows you the truth in my post. It's because of people like you God encourages me post the truth of His word. If no one could here or refused His truth, I wouldn't post His true word.

NJOY, It was Gods Spirit impregnating Mary that cause Him to be born in a flesh body Jesus Christ, God Almighty Himself, The Word Of God in a flesh body.

NJOY, it was your daddys flesh spern that impregnating your mother that caused you to be born of flesh in your flesh body.

It's through faith and belief in Jesus Christ, that you can be Born Again spiritually, and recieve Gods Holy Spirit.

Jesus had DNA....he was a living breathing laughing eating sleeping joking human being....you bet...Jesus had DNA....not God's DNA, because God is Spirit. Spirit does not have DNA. DNA is physical and Jesus was a physical human being...for sure.
