Which religion should I convert to?

MikeC??? Have you lost track of the fact that what we call God is Spirit... not material???

God has no DNA to pass on..... DNA is physical.... God created DNA.......in all matter/material....God is Spirit....that is why he used a human body to live among us and demonstrate how his holy spirit can live within us.

Jesus demonstrated this, but civilizations (too many) have placed "Jesus/humanity" above "spirit/Christ/god"

My physical self and your physical self are not who we are in the eyes of God. It is our spiritual self where God abides. When we forget that God is and always has been SPIRIT and LOVE..... we tend to want to think of Him as physical like us....but that is getting it backwards.

We are created by God...in His Image....spiritually, not physically.....Not only was Jesus there with Him in the beginning....we were also....we were the "twinkling in God's eye" if you will.

Spiritually speaking is what we need to concentrate on, not a physical entity like ourselves....that is where all the confusing comments come from..... that is why atheists do not believe in God. We've all been playing pinochle in the bottom of the boat....as Annie Dillard said in Pilgrim At Tinker Creek. Paying attention to the material/concrete/physical aspect of our little lives, and forgetting who we truly are....created and holy spirits living in a physical world and a physical body that are both amazing and unbelievably wonderful, when the real/true life is in the Spiritual. Spirit is Energy. Energy never dies. Energy is Love, it provides us with life. Mankind has witnessed this for eons and chosen different names for it. we call it God. There is no better word. and yes, Christ and God are the same, and so is the Indwelling the same....it is the Holy and Divine nature that has been granted to everyone by The Grace of God Almighty...the Mystery of Mysteries.

Mike, bunk is right, she has no idea why we are even in these flesh body's.

The Word of God always was, is, and will be, even before what we know as "In the beginning". Even before Heaven and Earth, before Flesh and Blood.

The Word of God became flesh and blood upon the manifestation or the birth of Jesus the Christ.

John 1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Would also like to point out that it was flesh and blood that Jesus sacrificed upon the Cross. His body was the "temple" and at the meals where he reigned, His flesh and blood was the only sacrifice needed. This was his sacrifice onto his crucifixion, and it was His Spiritual self that was resurrected.

Njoy, I simply do not agree with your perspective. Thats it in a nut shell.

Fine MikeC. I doubt if I agree with your perspective, but I choose not to place your perspective under the lens of my own personal microscope, because I see that as unfair.

I accept what you tell me is your perspective and when I think I can explain my perspective better, I try again.

But now, I'm exhausted. Therefore, I apologize for failing to find the right words to explain my heartfelt belief in the spiritual aspect only (not the literal) of the teachings of Jesus.

You said Jesus the Man died on the cross, and the Christ that was in Jesus went to heaven..

You keep saying their was a Jesus and their was a Christ. You refuse to believe JESUS CHRIST is ONE WORD JESUS CHRIST is GOD in His spirit body now, The same spirit Body that Thomas seen. JESUS CHRIST WAS God in a flesh body,

Jesus is NOT Jesus and then their is a different Christ, There is One NAME, JESUS CHRIST!! One Father, One Son, One holy Spirit. ALL in The ONE JESUS CHRIST,. God Almighty.

It was the sin free flesh and blood of JESUS CHRIST flesh that died. His flesh body did not rot in the grave like our flesh body's do at death. Jesus Christ flesh body was changed to His spirit body and rose to Heaven. The same spirit body that Thomas saw.

if you can say that Jameslee "explained it very well" then you should be able to agree with me, because what Jameslee explained is what I believe.

I did not say that Christ "went to heaven" I said that Christ arose. That Holy Spirit lives to this day in the hearts of men and women and children who allow it to live within their own hearts and minds. That Holy Spirit of Christ/God/Indwelling is speaking through me to you now. Yes, they are all three ONE. As are you and I. We are ONE with God/Christ/Indwelling Holy Spirit....those who accept this truth. some do not or can not....I do accept it.
