Which religion should I convert to?
You now appear to be thinking positive to a greater degree then before, are you not? If not, then wait till correct thinking enters in, and I believe that it may have just done that after reading your post, and believe me I am not being condescending but respect your questions regarding Anonymous Comments behavior.
Hopefully this thinking will cause some uplifting sensations. Emotion is very significant when fulfilling a desire; you should feel your way to the truth. In all things be worthy, for you are now on the pathway to mental mastery and greater self-expression.
Everybody wants success in some form; the higher forms are spiritual, health, social, material, and financial. Success may be the completion of a goal but does not make one successful. Positive thinking can lead to the accomplishment of destructive goals also; you can obtain wealth, power, and own a kingdom, but positive thinking alone could lead to your own destruction, because fortunately the Spiritual Universe will correct all error, (Cause and Effect). A successful goal is one that has been obtained without the intention of hurting anyone. There is no profit in opposition to the Will of God. What profiteth it a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?
It is for this reason that we now take a dash of the Holy Spirit, and mix it in with this positive thinking principle. It’s no longer just optimistic thinking, but now has been stepped up to a possibility of correct thinking, right-minded thinking. A more and better understanding of God, Jesus the Christ and the Holy Spirit is the key to correct thinking and the Kingdom of God. It now has real power, the strength of God, hope and faith has been embedded into your thought process to a much higher degree.
As our understanding of Gods Laws increases and becomes part of our mentality, correct thinking becomes natural, and a way of life. Correct thinking is positive thinking with the Holy Spirit as our guide. Man has a mentality and can choose to listen to the ego or the Holy Spirit. Listen to that still small voice and keep sight of your soul always. To make the wrong choice is to lose your soul; it is lost until you choose correctly. Know your soul and listen to your constant companion Christ, the Holy Spirit, God. Be aware that He is there. When a stream of thought that has no function but to destroy your true essence is revealed to that New Born Creature that you must be in order to understand this, starts to shout and makes you aware that your wrong minded-ness has taken momentary control, then you will know that you have made contact. That still small voice is shouting from on high requesting you to stop that unwanted and destructive thought. You can do this by taking control of your thought commentary and changing it or just count to 10. Thoughts that are judgmental, vengeful, lustful, or of worry, and guilt, or dwelling on past hurts or wrong conditions are usually wrong thoughts, and should be considered conjuring type thoughts. Conjuring thoughts will only cause bad effects. Don’t waste mental energy thinking of getting even or how you could draw people into your way of thinking. Spreading the Gospel is presenting the truth for consideration and doing so by example. It should be done with the fundamental nature of Christ, and this fundamental nature should be reflective within the words of the one presenting it. The point has been made, so just be vigilant with regards to idle thinking.
Remember this: A correct thought benefit’s the whole universe and can accomplish anything. A thought takes place in the Mind, where it is an activating force and will create according to its likeness (A Universal Law). Activating force that creates according to its likeness; this belief alone should create a desire for a worthy thought system.
The Bible is a history book and relates to many man made conflicts cause by unsound judgment and choices. The conflicting demands in life are a product of these unsound choices and were not engineered by God. And most assuredly, the Bible while being written was and has become a guidepost to correct thinking, we should all learn for our past and the past within the Bible.
Now this will be considered as New Age by Anonymous Comment but it is all in the Bible and is within the Heart and Spirit of the Bible. Scripture is great but without knowing and reflecting the essences of that scripture it is meaningless.
God Bless
P. S. I will only post to worthy post and not to Anonymous Comments or false labels, unless strongly compelled to.
It is the Word of God, not the words of scripture, but the understanding of the words of scripture that will get one to that place that we all want to be. The apprehension and appreciation of “The Words of God,” will cause harmony and the fundamental nature of God to follow. Above all else get understanding. One does not need to be 100% correct in their presentation to reflect this essences. But after what is written does not reflect this essences, then there is something missing, and that is the understanding of what has been written, especially when it come to the “The Word of God.”
One can cut & past scripture in any language but without understanding that language, it is useless. One can cut & past scripture but without understanding, that scripture is useless until understood properly. The essences of “The Words of God” cannot but be reflective in the one with this understanding. Without this understanding they have only words strung together without meaning. To them I say, spread the Gospel with proper conduct and behavior and you will be accepted, but a house divided against itself cannot stand.
Jameslee--Please inform me what the difference is between the word of god and word of Bible. Seems the words of god are reported in the Bible and thus must have faith that the scriptures therein are credible. Obviously, there are many different religions and thus many find biblical words to be nonsense and rather foolish at times. Don't you agree in all fairness?
Jameslee, "Amen" to this most helpful answer you have given here. To quote you as you expressed a favorite thought of mine:
"Spreading the Gospel is presenting the truth for consideration and doing so by example."
" It should be done with the fundamental nature of Christ, and this fundamental nature should be reflective within the words of the one presenting it."
Amen my friend. Thanks for posting this.

It is The Holy Spirit that gives the understanding of Gods Words of scripture
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness," 2 Timothy 3:16
The Scriptures reveal the very heart of God, His Word. God Almighty has, in the sacred Scriptures, as it were, manifested Himself, unfolded all His counsel to the creatures, as far as is necessary to be known for their direction and guidance to everlasting life.
The Scripture is a rule outside of us—to show us where we must go; the Holy Spirit inside of us who gives us understanding of the words of God in scripture —to enable us to walk according to the direction of that Word.
There is a heavenly wisdom which the Holy and Blessed Holy Spirit alone can give. He sheds a sacred light on His own word of truth, and by His personal and living teachings--opens, enlarges, and persuades the heart to receive what He thus shows and teaches
However valuable and blessed the book of God is, we cannot be made wise unto salvation by the word itself --without the special teachings of the Holy Spirit as a personal and living instructor.
The Holy Spirit does for us what no earthly teacher can--write His own laws upon our hearts and give us will and power to keep and obey them.
"I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go." Isaiah 48:17
"For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God." Romans 8:14 .jameslee102447. But after what is written does not reflect this essences, then there is something missing, and that is the understanding of what has been written, especially when it come to the “The Word of God.”
What is missing is the Holy Spirit of God.
"When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth." John 16:13
"The Comforter, the Holy Spirit . . . will teach you all things." John 14:26
What are the evidences of having received the Holy Spirit?
If we have received the Holy Spirit — the Lord Jesus stands high in our estimation — and our views of ourselves are very humbling. And just in proportion to the power and depth of the Spirit's work — will be our conceptions of the glory, grandeur, and excellency of the Savior; and our discoveries of the depravity, pollution, weakness, and misery of our own hearts.
If, therefore, we have heart affecting views of the glory of Christ and His finished work — and if we lie low in the dust under a sense of our weakness and worthlessness, so that we are brought to depend wholly on Christ, and on Christ alone — we have surely received the Holy Spirit.
Once more, if we have received the Holy Spirit — then we are ruled by God's Word; we do not follow custom, or allow our desires or prejudices to dictate our course. In all times of difficulty, when in any perplexity, something seems to say within us, "To the law and to the testimony," and to the precepts of the New Testament, we turn.
The Word of Jesus Christ is the law of the true believer. Everything short of it, or beyond it, or beside it, or contrary to it — is sin! "Only what Jesus commands, all that Jesus commands, and because Jesus commands," is the language of the soul.
And while we thus make the Word of Jesus our rule — we deny ourselves. We deny our own wills, our own passions, our own desires, our likes and dislikes. We are before Him, as He was before His Father, when He cried out, "Not My will — but may Your will be done." If, then, we make the Word of God our guide, and habitually deny ourselves for Christ's sake — we may rest assured, that we have received the Holy Spirit.
One can cut & past scripture in any language but without the Holy Spirit of God understanding that language,is useless.
To receive the holy Spirit of God, one must believe in Jesus Christ, accept Jesus Christ in your heart as your Lord God and Savior, and receive the Holy Spirit of God.

I disagree Gursquin. Jameslee's post has Christ written all over it.(in my opinion.)
Your opinion?? What does God say. To receive the Holy Spirit of God, one must believe in Jesus Christ, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord God and Savior and recieve the Holy Spirit of God.
jameslee has not done this, so according to God jameslee has not received the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ according to scripture.
Jameslee's post has a different Christ written all over it. jameslees post does NOT have the Jesus Christ of the Bible written in it.
Are you simply using this forum to post a different gospel. In your comments and answers there is nothing of the gospel of Jesus Christ that is in the bible. Telling someone they have the Holy Spirit of God within them when God shows us for a fact they do not is a terrible thing to say and very deceptive to those who are seeking Gods truth.
Try to post with more of Gods word from scripture if you can please. We do not need to deceive our brothers and sisters with a false gospel. That is not the way of the Lord.
Attn: Physicalist Good question.
The Bible is not the Word of God it is the inspired word of God that was expressed through man as all creative thought is, rather it be art, poetry, science and etc. Jesus the Christ is the Word of God of which was spoken with authority to the Jew first because of Jesus being born a Jew and of God, and then to the Gentile because he was born of God. Also the Word of God from Jesus the Christ was acted upon by the Activating Force known as the Holy Spirit because of the Faith OF God and not just from the faith IN God. These were the thoughts of God being spoken by the Word of God (Jesus the Christ) and acted on by the Activating Force (Holy Spirit) of God for the Glory of God.

Does one need to believe everything in the King James Bible or any Bible in order to be a Christian? I believe no, at least until I believe everything in the Bible, or I might lean towards a yes if I read anywhere in the Bible that one must believe. I believe every Word of God, but not necessary every word of the Bible. Remember it is also a history book, teaching tool, and instruction book for better living. It is filled with stories and teachings devised to help experience situations and to learn from the past so that history does not repeat itself. The New Testament supplies us with a role model and a way of life filled with freedom from the past and freedom from guilt and the wages of sin that is death. It is the Gospel and that which we must believe is only the truth for only the truth can set us free. And the truth is that which you discover and know, not that which you believe and learn.
The Bible is the Word of God, God is THE AUTHOR, it is the inspired word of God that was expressed from/through the Holy Spirit of God TO certain men of God as the holy Spirit instructed..those men of God to write Gods Word IN the Bible.
Jesus Christ (NOT JESUS --THE CHRIST) is the Word of God of which was spoken with the authority of God because Jesus Christ IS God, to the Jew first and then to the Gentile because the Jews REFUSED Jesus Christ The Word Of God as their Savior. Also Jesus Christ is God, The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit, in One body, ONE GOD, Jesus Christ.
Because of the Grace OF God We can receive the Holy Spirit by believing in Jesus Christ and accepting Him as our lord God and Savior, and not from any thing we do. These were and are the words of God being spoken by Jesus Christ and acted on because JESUS CHRIST WAS GOD IN THE FLESH, the Word of God, IS GOD, the same Word of God, now in Heaven
