Discuss MikeC's answer to: Best Religion

Which religion should I convert to?

Anoymous Think of what is being said here. " I am not of this world" Christ is the most important name of this world. Jesus said, " I am from above." Christ is one with the Father because he is one in spirit with the word. Jesus said " Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning" Since the creation of mankind God has raveled himself to us. What Christ said was and still is true. Christ is one with the Word and the Word is God. Now, for those who pray to the One above, the One not of this world, to the Word, to the I AM, to Christ, to the inseparable Trinity.   Don't you think it is best to let God handle the truth of who he is. Christ is the most important name on earth but the Word is the most important name in the universe and the Word is God. I quote Jesus the Christ, " Therefor you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all you mind, and with all your strength." This is the second, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself. " " There is no other commandment greater than these." Jesus did not say to love me with all your heart, he said to love your Lord your God.

I believe in Christ Jesus, I believe He is our Lord and savior but that does not take away of the fact that he is also the Word, the Lord God. He will hear all are prayers, each and every one of us. Our job is only to promote the words of Christ, to say why we believe, express our heart as if we where talking to our self. How we would like to hear the opinion of someone else that we love. Not for the sake of agreement, but for the sake of understanding. We do not have to agree but we are obligated to try and understand even if we cant. God/Christ is a player in the game of life and not an observer. We need to let others pray to there Lord, there God from above and at the same time realize that they cannot bypass the Lord our God, "Christ" the most important name on earth.   Jesus did say brother against brother etc. but that does not mean that we our obligated to create a fight.   We are obligated to try and create peace.

That is the first and foremost obligation we have if we prioritize  according to the two most important commands given to us by Christ himself.

We need not to fear the beliefs of others because we are comfortable with what we consider the truth. We also have to be comfortable with the realization that God will intercede when we can’t convey the truth properly. We have to have confidence in His ability to express Himself to others in there own minds or spirit if you will. As He(God) wishes, under the name He wishes to go by. The One from above or the One of this earth.

Nothing is as it seem's.

"Quote"I know what Christ said about "born again" so there is no need to re state it. I understand very well what he meant.

Yes it needs to be re stated. Some people don't know what  Christ said about "born again" YOU are not the only person on here. However, you are one of many on here that hate what Jesus said.

Just because you get mad at what Jesus said, He just might make others believe when they read what Jesus said. Ever think about that!!!

Just because you know what Jesus Christ said is one thing, it will get you no where with God. Believing and doing what Christ said is the key to salvation.

BTW, Christ is after lost sinners, not righteous idiots like you!

OH Yes, and here is that fact re stated again that you don't like to here. Christ told us how we could  go to God",..Repent of your sins, believe in and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord God and savior and receive the Holy Spirit of God and live forever". THERE, don't that just piss you off!!!!

Did you ever read or consider the fact what Jesus said he would do to the souls of some on judgment day.

Most of what you generate is from within yourself, without the grace of God to direct you, it is self-indulgent nonsense – at best. As the prophet said, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. Who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9) Frankly, Satan doesn’t care what you believe, as long as it is not the word of Jesus Christ, "God" in the Holy Bible. End of story.

MikeC, why do you profess Jesus and how gracious he is ? You boast of the crucifixion for humanity! You boast of his mercy.
If he is the word of the father and he did alll these things why do you disrespect his word and not walk in obedience and teach others to be disobedient?

MikeC

Delmar     I don't teach others to be disobedient, I just tell others what I think. To say I disrespect the word of Christ is nonsense. To say I have a different opinion on how, what and why he said what he said, now that may be more of the truth. As soon as a person, from what ever religion tells me someone is saved or unsaved, now that is being disrespectful to the power of God/Christ. We have one major job here on earth and that is to do our best to love you neighbor with the absolute understanding that your Father is watching. And without a doubt, you love your father. When you say I disobey a word of Christ, be specific. To generalize disobedients is to easy. Say what specific thing I said that is disobedient. I may be wrong on things and I will listen, but I am always honest. Such as hiding under different screen names is dishonest. I am not saying you are Delmar but there are those that do and at the same time talk to me about the presents of Christ. I don't think Christ condones dishonesty. I may be wrong on things but I am honestly wrong. I don't hide from anyone. GBY MikeC

MikeC.Delmar,Say what specific thing I said that is disobedient

Mike only God can give you that understanding, and when He does you will know it. Until then, you will remain as you are.

MikeC

Delmar,    that is a cop out ! If you are going to accuse, you should know what it is about.   You don't get away with that general nonsense with me.   If you can't be specific, you don't have a quality argument. Your response is shallow with no depth or guts !

I'm not delmar, HOWEVER I got guts, I will TELL YOU what it is about, it's about you are deceived and no one can tell you that you are decieved, Not even Jesus Christ in His Word, BECAUSE YOU DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT HE SAYS!!, .

People have been specific with you, also, you tell on yourself over and over, Mike, You are specific about yourself,(unaware deceived ), You don't believe a word Jesus says, (that is disobedient, disrespectful ). Your understanding is shallow with no depth. You do not listen when told,  you do not believe when you are shown scripture,. Your response is always the same.

Delmar

To Mike. In the name of Jesus Christ "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."

Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel… I Corinthians 15:1

In this simple phrase, we find a truth that must be rediscovered by all of us. The Gospel is not merely an introductory message to Christianity. It is “the” message of Christianity, and it is not only the means of salvation, but also the means of continued sanctification in the life of the most mature believer. The Apostle had already preached the Gospel to these people!  He was their father in the faith!

Yet he sees the greatest need to continue teaching the Gospel to them, not only to remind them of its essential ingredients, but also to expand their knowledge of it.

At their conversion, they merely began a journey of discovery that would encompass their entire life and carry on through the endless ages of eternity – the discovery of the glories of God revealed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
