Which religion should I convert to?
Anonymous I don't think you understand me, but that is O.K. You seem to look at things written in scripture and take everything literally. I believe there is strong wording to convey a strong message. I also believe not everything that is written is to be taken literally. God gave us the Ten Commandments first. Simple wording so all could understand. The Ten Commandment is to be taken literally without exception. On the other hand, to me the Bible is a more general outline that is to be taken as a whole. Not in parts, bits and pieces. Even when you where writing to Njoy with scripture, she came right back to you with scripture in her own defense. I would be wrong to tell you or her that what was said is wrong. I have said before, first thing to me when reading scripture is how does the reading relate to the Ten Commandments ? If there is no clear choice than there is no clear answer. Why the introduction of the Ten Words, why was the introduction of the Bible ? I believe Christ Jesus was the introduction of God to humankind in the physical side but at the same time there was a motive for his coming, what was it ? To me the sins of Adam and Eve where forgiven by the coming of Christ Jesus. From the time of Christ Jesus there is no sins of Adam and Eve, there is only our sins. Our mistakes, our weaknesses. Adam and Eve have nothing to do with our weaknesses, that is over, that is history. As far as accusing you of telling people they are going to hell. I just know that you or I have no authority, we have no understanding of who goes or who does not go where God wants them to be.
Read what you will, that is the only thing you can do. Preconceived notions are useless and are better left unsaid. Sometimes the silent is just as important as the verbal. A child does not grow when all things are given to them. Maturity even in the Spirit has to be learned, experienced and desirable. You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink. They have do it on there own.

Mike I understand you perfectly.I understand that you are deceived.
Jesus Christ was the Savior and Adam and Eve's sin and ALL those who were born before Jesus Christ died on the Cross WHO DID WHAT GOD SAID TO DO was forgiven by the coming of Christ Jesus. Those who did not do what God said for them to do were NOT forgiven by the coming of Jesus. They will BE JUDGE on Judgment day when Jesus returns.

Mike, the sin of Adam and Eve is still in the world today. Jesus Christ has not returned a second time YET to put an end to sin, and put satan in the lake of fire. YET. .But through Jesus Christ by believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord God and savior we can be saved.
Everyone who is born after Jesus died on the Cross is born with a sinful condition because of the fall of Adam and Eve, they are not born with the Holy Spirit of God in them because of the fall of Adam and Eve. People who are born after Jesus died on the Cross for our sins STILL need a Savior.
They need to believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord God and Savior to be forgiven to receive the Holy Spirit of God. When Christ returns those who have believe in and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord God and savior, whether they are alive or dead will be with the Lord forever when Jesus Christ returns.
Adam and Eve, and ALL those who were born and died before Jesus Christ, who did what God said to do,WERE FORGIVEN their spirits, souls went to the Lord when Jesus Christ died on the Cross and rose to Heaven on the 3rd day.
From the time of Jesus Those who believe in Jesus Christ accept Him as their Lord God and Savior, whether they have died believing in Jesus Christ or whether they be alive believing in Jesus Christ, they will be with the Lord forever when Jesus returns.
What you are saying is everyone born after Jesus died on the Cross does not need a savior, that they are born with the Holy spirit in them, that they are saved automatically, just because Jesus died on the Cross whether they believe in Him or not.
Read into it what you will, however, it is you that has no understanding of who goes or who does not go where God wants them to be.
When God has shown me the truth, I would be wrong in gods eyes not to tell you are wrong. AND if you belong to God through Jesus Christ, YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH WHEN SHOWN.
God said,My sheep will hear My Voice From henceforth I will speak plainly, sayeth the Lord. All my children will hear My Voice and they will come and all those who heareth not My Voice are not My children. Jesus said, " My sheep will hear My Voice and they will come." It is My Spirit that bears witness with your spirit that you are my children and I am known by all My children. None of those who are not My children heareth My Voice, neither will they come. Be not deceived brethren, either you are one of God's children or you are not one of God's children. There is no in between.
Anonymous Jesus knew Adam and Eve personally when they lived. There sins where forgiven before Jesus even came to the cross. You are right about "Who did what God said to do" But like everything else, your presumptions are wrong in my opinion. Every man, woman and child since the time of Adam and Eve has been a part of God. The question is do you believe that Christ is God ? Seeing that you cannot separate the three, talking to one is just as good as talking to another. You are also right about Christ Jesus but again your presumptions are wrong and again, it is my opinion. The "Good news" has to be presented in a appropriate manner, a desirable fashion with honesty and with the ability for people to make a logical choice. Love of Christ, fear and honesty all have to be put in the proper perspective.
You cannot be like a demanding father that shows no mercy, hears no arguments, has no patience, does not act with love, does not forgive, only demands what he wants from his children without gaining there respect or love. This type of teaching has been around for centuries and it is wrong ! And who knows it’s wrong ? God/Christ/the Holy Spirit ! You bring up "judgment" I wonder who is going to judged the harshest, the one that teaches fear with out understanding the importance of love or the one who teaches love with the knowledge of fear ?

Sins like the ones Adam and Eve committed are still in the world today but the sins of Adam and Eve are gone and forgotten. There is a difference. We, all of us, are not born with sin since to coming of Christ Jesus, again, that is my opinion. A child is born innocent and there is not a man on earth that can tell me any different. We grow, learn and come to know right from wrong and we make choices, some good, some bad. Sin is real and so is forgiveness. Love is real and so is hate. A choice has to be made. Respect is real and without gaining it from anyone it is a real loss. Honesty is real and so is deception. The Ten Commandment are real to those who read it. The judgement by Christ ? That is real to those who honestly search in a manner that is pleasing to Christ. I can guarantee you that to teach hate of any other human being is not pleasing to Christ. You can hate the sin but not the sinner. Rule # 2
I have said it a million times, Christ Jesus is my Lord God and Savior. I think he has taught me well and I don’t care if you believe that or not. Adam and Eve ? Since the death of Christ, they are just names in the scriptural past that have no baring on us today other than a history lesson. The second coming of Christ ? He could come today or tomorrow and I will be the same person I am today. I don’t worry about what I have no control over. By the way, death is also real and it could come any minute to any one of us. Am I ready for it ? Only God knows ! I am sure glad that He is the only one to judge. I could never trust another.
