......being condescending without an interest in addressing the issues or points, seems a rather fruitless enterprise.  What are the reasons for the "sorry" stance?  Those reasons should be expanded, exposed, so they might be analysed, for better or worse.

......Back in the days of the Indian wars, the Calvary used to sweep through the villages, killing everything in sight--bayonets through babies' bodies, women, children.  A slaughter.  Disturbingly, the justification for many came from the bible.  They often pointed to the examples in the bible, the general idea that if God could engage in that kind of slaughter, it must be okay.  Actually, coming from their viewpoint, using the bible as their guide, it's hard to argue with their justification.  But that's only if a person accepted their bible.

....so, you have no way, then, of knowing if they may have the real truths....just as if they can't speak for Christianity, they have no way of knowing that Christianity may have all the truths.  Wouldn't it behoove to learn all about all religions, in order to compare?  That is, if a person really wanted to know the real truths.  Without investigation and exploration, there's no real way to know.

....it may cooborate the fears and concerns.  It is the pervasive telling others that they are wanting, unhappy, dishonest, heathens, bad, discontented, war-lovers, bloodthirsty, while praying for those poor lost souls who cannot believe because there are no reasons to believe.  None.  Unless some Christian will post some of them.  No personal testimony allowed, just bona fide reasons for believing in one god over another.

......here's hoping Chaplin John wanders by, since there are oodles of atheists and agnostics to ask the same questions, and present with the same charges.  How about Katherine Hepburn, next?  She lived to be in her early nineties, I believe, so she would have had plenty of time to consider what is superstition and what is not superstition; and what has caused the greatest amount of strife and damage to mankind.  It'll be interesting to see if Chaplin John can supply some much needed details.

you know i am getting fed up with same thing.  people saying to do one thing and their actions scream something completely different.  people should not be teaching hate against any person based on their actions, race, family, etc... all should be loved, but there are still some things that are wrong. religion and humans are flawed.

Actually it is Political Reason, some other groups use his religion for political purposes because those people are greedy to power and want to dominate a whole world use his religion. So I don't believe those religion are fighting for what Believing, they fight to Political Powers and used innocent people as sacrificial to gain the Political Power and World Domination.

First of all wtg guys, my fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ.........Extremely good answers with much thought put into it.......had my 9 yr old Grands here today...lol....so not as sharp as I should be.  They are a joy though.

I guess the only thing I wanted to add..........the only thing that is truly responsible for hatred and wars is mankind was given free will to choose between Good and Evil.  God being the good and Satan being the evil.

I live in a free country so far......I pray it never changes....but I could not live in a country that prohibited me from following God and Jesus.  I would rather die then give them up.  True some wars have been bad.............without a good reason.....but then I think of the Holocaust, and all the innocent men, women, and children that were killed in gas chambers just because they were Jews.

Yes, some are for power........because money rules in this world and they are control freeks that want to be King of the World, but there will only be one King of this Earth and that is Jesus our Savior.

When I think of God our Father and God the Son I am filled with joy and happiness.  When you don't have them in your life.....then your life is filled with hatred, darkness, and despair......Because without them in your life and heart you have nothing...........People that do not have God and Jesus in their life think the world centers around them and that they are the most important person in this world.

Hey what can you lose my friend........you might not know God and Jesus, but trust me they know you.  Give it a shot and see if your life lightens up within your heart.  God is not a religion nor is Jesus they are the light of the world.

When I get upset............try this..........I imagine myself breathing in Jesus and drinking them in like water to my very soul.  Then the Joy floods over me, my eyes are bright lights and I see hope, for there is nothing God cannot do.  His power is without limit............

Sometimes you have no choice but to fight........if you saw an evil person breaking into your house and trying to kill your family.........would you just stand there.  I could not.  So even, though killing is against my very soul.......I could to save an innocent person.  I would kill the devil if I could, but he is immortal because God made him that way, but he chose evil and self-love instead of loving all mankind.  He loves no one, but when he gets thrown into the Lake of Fire.........oh boy, I cannot wait to tell all the people he lead astray........see where he lead you.........now pay him back for that while you burn down there with him.

Well said my friend, well said. There are no words to explain the joy when Jesus enters into a person's life.

When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all he's done for me, my soul cries out Hallelujah, I thank God for saving me!!!!!
