You must NEVER say NEVER, I guess you know this by now. I believe you cannot put a timetable on love and how a relationship should progress, each relationship is unique. I also believe in love at first sight, it happened to me and we were married for over 17 yrs. . Before giving your heart to another person, I think it is wise to be familiar with the red flags that can exist in relationships. If you have these in your relationship, DO NOT IGNORE THEM! They will not go away later just because you hope they will or if you love him enough,or what ever other excuse you can come up with. If you are wondering if it is love you feel for this person, you should think about and notice, if you haven't already, how you feel about yourself when you are around him. Does he make you feel capable, beautiful, respected for who you are as a person? Real love adds to our self esteem, it never tears us down, it gives us wings. If you go through this emotional checklist and it seems he is still a wonderful, caring man, I think it's safe for the relationship to progress. Best Wishes to you!
