Reinstalling AOL

I currently have AOL 9.0 Optimized SE on my PC.  The program has become corrupt beyond repair.  I'd like to download a fresh copy of AOL to my PC and install it...and then copy the "global" file, (I've already saved it), there so that I'll keep all my mail from the corrupted program.

As AOL 9.0 Optimized SE is not available, what other AOL programs are compatable to the extent that I can transfer my e-mail from my old AOL mail to the new program?
